Innovative Design Research Of Popular Science Digital Illustrations

The cultural heritage of Boshan coloured glaze is an important part of traditional Chinese culture,and its unique crafting techniques,rich cultural connotations,and exquisite artistic expression are highly appreciated by cultural enthusiasts.However,in the digital age,how to combine traditional culture with modern life and enable more people to understand and appreciate it has become an urgent issue.This study aims to explore innovative ways of promoting Boshan coloured glaze culture through popular science digital illustration design in the digital age.The study conducted a questionnaire survey to analyze the audience of Boshan coloured glaze culture,which was mainly found to be teenagers and cultural enthusiasts.Therefore,the design strategy and the form of illustration focused more on interesting and interactive elements.The study also conducted field research and interviews to extract and transform the visual elements of Boshan coloured glaze culture.In specific practice,the author created a series of popular science digital illustrations called "Boshan Glass Culture Popular Science Illustration Design",which accurately and vividly presents the places,tools,and steps of Boshan coloured glass production in five aspects: design style,composition features,color expression,object modeling,and material texture.The study hopes that the design of "Boshan coloured glaze Culture Popular Science Illustration Design" can provide guidance and inspiration for the design of popular science digital illustration for Boshan coloured glaze culture and other cultural heritage.The study also aims to promote the knowledge and pride of Boshan coloured glaze culture and enhance the sense of belonging to the region.
