Analysis Of Lu Huabai’s "Xuyang Ancient Tune"

The adaptation of national instrumental music into piano works is one of the forms of Chinese composers,so the adaptation of national instrumental music occupies an irreplaceable position in Chinese piano works.The composer combined Chinese national instrumental music with Western instruments and adapted and created a large number of piano works.Lu Huabai is a famous pianist,composer and music educator in China.All his life in music creation and music education.When creating the works,the western composition technology was combined with the Chinese national five-tone style,which played a remarkable effect on the development of piano music in China.In 1946,Mr.Lu Huabai adapted a piano solo song——"Xunyang Ancient tune"according to the pipa work "Xunyang Night Moon".The work integrates the Chinese and western composition techniques,combines the western variations with the Chinese national five-tone style,and completely reproduces the ancient and elegant charm of the original pipa music,leaving a strong color in the history of Chinese music,and has high research value.From the aspects of the musical structure,harmony,playing skills and timbre imitation of national instruments,the artistic value of the piano work Xunyang ancient tune is explored and the piano work Xunyang Ancient tune is played better.This paper aims to study the performance skills,and supplement the existing research results through the specific analysis of the octave,rhythm and beat inclusion.I hope that through this study,I can have a deeper understanding and perception of the piano work "Xunyang Ancient Diao",and better interpret the works.
