Verdi was the most influential opera creator in 19th-century Europe,and his creation of "Un ballo in maschera" was one of his representative works in his mid period.It was also his first attempt to add a comedic character,known as "Oscar",to a tragedy drama."Saper vorreste" is one of Oscar’s aria in the opera "Un ballo in maschera".This article will take this aria as the main research subject.The first introduction describes the reasons for choosing the topic and the current research status.In the second overview of the opera "Un ballo in maschera",it briefly introduces Verdi’s artistic career and the content of the opera.The third part analyzes the musical terms,musical forms,musical structure and melody characteristics of You Want to Know,and reveals the unique charm of the aria.In the fourth part of character image shaping,this study analyzes the importance of the characteristics of "male actors and female singers" in displaying character characteristics,and explores the role of emotional levels and psychological changes in music communication.Fifth,in the analysis and practice of singing skills,it focuses on the singing skills of this aria and its own interpretation of this work.Through an in-depth study of "Saper vorreste," this paper aims to deeply explore the artistic value of the aria "Saper vorreste" from Verdi’s opera "Un ballo in maschera," investigate the techniques and experiences in vocal practice,and hope to provide a more comprehensive and profound theoretical basis for researchers and performers.
