| Any language has its own cultural carrier,it is also the communicator and guardian of this culture, and culture is also the promoter of the continuous development of language. The two are harmonious, symbiotic and inseparable. The formation and development of each language has its own specific social and historical environment and living soil.It is a special cultural phenomenon and a relatively stable symbol that people have established in their long-term life practice.Language is a tool of communication, and language also records and spreads culture, and is the force on which culture depends for survival. In turn, culture nourishes language, making it richer and more vital. The two are interdependent and restrict each other.intricate relationships formed. To learn a language, learners must not only learn the language itself, but also learn the logical thinking in the language and understand the deep culture it contains. If people with different languages and backgrounds do not understand each other’s culture when talking, misunderstandings often occur,or communication often encounters difficulties.Entering social situations, people socialize not only to exchange information, but also to express various emotions between each other.Modern linguistics turns to the study of speech activities and inevitably raises questions such as the conditions for successful implementation, the methods of delivering information to the recipient in the most complete and undistorted form, and the ways of influencing the recipient. The positioning of the language user for the recipient is one of the main conditions.Appellations are a generic category. It has a wealth of expressions, both verbal and non-verbal.The primary means of expressing the category of addressability has traditionally been considered appellation, the complexity and functionality of which continues to attract the attention of linguists.People use different titles when addressing each other.Typically, the choice of address form depends on parameters such as affiliation, generation, age, occupation, job title, status, education, place of residence, topic of conversation, interpersonal familiarity, nationality, race, gender, social status, etc. The most important factor in determining the form of appellation is affiliation, because affiliation presupposes that there is a clear line between superiority and subordination. It should be noted that the choice of appellation can be affected by multiple selected parameters at the same time, rather than one, which also makes the choice of appellation more complicated and more difficult for non-native language learners, which is the research goal of this paper. The thesis consists of the following five parts:The first part introduces the purpose, aim, state and methods of the research. The second part focuses on the comparative analysis of social forms of address in Chinese and Uzbek languages.Because Chinese forms of address are complex, authoritative reference books are not very unified in their definitions, thus it is necessary to define and categorize them clearly.Secondly,it illustrates and discusses the five types of forms of address, such names and last names, occupation, kinship, zero forms and social common forms of address,in the two languages, highlighting their differences. The third part belongs to empirical research. The paper designs, collects, and counts the use of Chinese social forms of address among Uzbek students, and analyzes them in detail, especially the reasons for errors in the use, such as negative transfer of mother tongue, communication strategies, the language environment, the complexity of Chinese social forms of address, the textbooks used in schools, and the problems of teachers’ teaching strategy. The fourth part proposes recommendations for teaching Chinese social forms of address to Uzbek students.Inspect the teaching content and existing problems, enlightenment to the teaching of Uzbek forms of address, put forward suggestions on the comparative study of Chinese and Uzbek forms of address, teaching suggestions on the errors of Uzbek learners when use Chinese forms of address and teaching practice. The fifth part is the author’s summary of this paper,as well as the limitations and shortcomings of the paper and expectations for further research in the future. Each chapter of the thesis is followed by a summary. At present, the cultural, trade and economic exchanges between Uzbekistan and China are developing rapidly, and the number of people who are interested in Chinese and Uzbek culture and learn the language is on the rise.In the golden age of Sino-Uzbekistan relations,a comparative study of appellation terms between China and Uzbekistan will help to promote friendly exchanges, mutual understanding, and effective communication between the two peoples,as well as the integration and respect of the two cultures.meaning. |
