A Study Of Female Images In Artistic Animated Shorts From Female Perspective

As a branch of animation film,art animation short film stands out from the mainstream animation with its exploratory,innovative and experimental characteristics.Among them,female image is an indispensable part of art animation short films,and a realistic female image can not only enrich the content of animation short films,but also guide the public to establish correct gender concept and values.This paper uses literature research method,case study method and comparative research method to sort out relevant literature and short films,and analyzes the portrayal of female image in art animation short films,the emotional expression of female image,the value orientation of female image,and the presentation of female image in female perspective from "female perspective",and explores the construction of female image in art animation short films.The following specific characteristics are summarized.The first is that in terms of image building,different directors create different images of women,which are the projection of the director’s experience,understanding and desire,reflecting the director’s personal style and creative perspective.With the development of women’s self-awareness and the enhancement of women’s social status,the image of women in art animation shorts gradually presents three-dimensional and diversified characteristics.Secondly,as a kind of comprehensive art,the female image in the art animation short film has an important role in conveying the emotion of the animation creator.The emotional expression of female image in art animation short film is mainly reflected in two ways,firstly,the art style setting with female as the main body,and secondly,the manifestation of female self spirit.Thirdly,the value orientation expressed by the female image in the art animation short film is determined by the social background and cultural atmosphere in which the creator lives.The female image in the art animation short film has to take up the task of promoting the national cultural connotation and transmitting the correct values to the public.Fourth,due to the influence of physiological characteristics and cultural context,the presentation of female images from the perspective of both genders is different and has its own characteristics.From the male perspective,women are presented as "presented objects",and their characterization is unbalanced,stereotyped,objectified and idealized.From the female point of view,however,female characters exhibit a richer and more diverse set of characteristics.For example,they are multi-faceted,pioneering,critical,and metaphorical.At the same time,we synthesize the above research results and explain how to use them in the graduation works Serendipity and Catch the Star,so as to open up a new path for the creation and research of art animation short films from female perspective.
