| With the advancement of English curriculum reform,the cultivation of cultural awareness has been put on the educational agenda.But cultural knowledge is not as systematic and detailed as grammar knowledge,but throughout the whole teaching process.So the implementation of the high school English culture teaching has certain difficulty and requires the help of certain means."Advance organizer" model mainly refers to a kind of guiding and usually introduced before the teaching content and a clear and organized set of products designed on the basis of the knowledge that learners are already familiar with that teachers present to students in the process of meaningful acceptance learning.thesis mainly uses investigation,interview and experiment to explore the application of "advance organizer" model in high school English classroom culture teaching.The main research questions of thesis are as follows:(1)what is the current situation of cultural teaching in high school English classroom teaching?(2)How effective is the "advance organizer" model to be applied in high school English classroom culture teaching?(3)How to effectively use the "advance organizer" model to promote cultural teaching in High school English classroom teaching.Through the implementation of this phase research,and through the questionnaire to collect,before and after the test and the interview data,according to the results of the analysis and research of the current high school English culture teaching still has a lot of problems,"advance organizer" model in the application of the high school English classroom.Culture teaching is advantageous to the students on the basis of the original knowledge to carry on the processing of new knowledge and learning,in turn,promote meaningful learning.To improve students’ intercultural communication ability and cultural awareness,this study puts forward some teaching suggestions.The research results bring some enlightenment to English teaching in senior high schools,and the front-line teachers can fully apply this model to specific classroom teaching reasonably and effectively,which can further improve the teaching efficiency. |
