Without society,language would cease to exist.Any language phenomenon is based on language as a social communication tool.Phonology,vocabulary and grammar constitute the three elements of language,among which vocabulary is the most flexible and the most rapidly changing.To a certain extent,vocabulary represents the development of language and society,and also symbolizes the breadth and depth of human understanding of the world.In the 21 st century,as an important carrier and propeller of the information age,the network language has taken off,and it has unconsciously affected the daily life of human beings.Among them,Internet buzzwords,as a special variant of Internet language,have gained attention in academia.Vocabulary is an important part of teaching Chinese as a foreign language.In today’s Internet era,Internet buzzwords are favored by the vast number of netizens,and their formation also has a certain social life and cultural foundation.Therefore,the value of Internet buzzwords in teaching Chinese as a foreign language cannot be underestimated.The times are constantly changing and developing.For Chinese as a second language of foreign students,they will inevitably encounter Internet buzzwords in their daily study and life.Therefore,it is particularly important to update the content of teaching Chinese as a foreign language.Based on the research background described above,this paper links Chinese Internet buzzwords with teaching Chinese as a foreign language,and discusses the necessity of introducing Internet buzzwords into Chinese as a foreign language class.There are five chapters in the full text: the first chapter discusses the background,meaning and related literature of the topic selection;the second chapter systematically analyzes the meaning,causes,types and characteristics of network buzzwords;the third chapter further analysis of the importance of Internet buzzwords in Chinese classes;Chapter four makes a special inquiry into the current situation and problems of Chinese Internet buzzwords in teaching Chinese as a foreign language;Chapter five discusses the teaching strategies of Internet catchphrases comprehensively.Throughout the research of the full text,it can be found that the appropriate introduction of online buzzwords in the teaching of Chinese as a foreign language broadens the content of vocabulary teaching and increases the liveliness of the class;On the other hand,it is of great benefit to international students to learn Chinese,understand Chinese and even deeply appreciate the Chinese culture.
