New Media And The Transformation Of Literary Criticism’s Discourse Power Subjects

Since the end of the last century,New Media based on Web2.0 have brought the innovation of literary production,dissemination,reception and criticism.As for literary criticism,its discourse power subjects have undergone a transformation under the influence of New Media.Firstly,New Media began to join the Paper-based Media as one of the discourse positions of Professional Literary Critics,and extended the research field of Professional Criticism from the aspects of critical object and critical perspective.Secondly,the Grass-roots Literary Criticism hatched by New Media,which is amateurish,free and interactive,has stepped onto the field of literary criticism,and Grass-roots Literary Critics are actively vying for the discourse power.Based on the existing research on the relationship between New Media and the discourse power subjects of literary criticism,this paper compares the changes of Professional Literary Critics under New Media and the characteristics and values of Grass-roots Literary Critics.Referring to Bourdieu’s "field" theory,this paper analyzes the present ecology of literary criticism and tries to put forward a feasible scheme of constructing an ideal field of literary criticism.The main body consists of three parts:The first chapter is "The Displacement and Persistence of Professional Critics",which analyzes the multi-dimensional transformation of Professional Critics,who hold the main discourse power of literary criticism,including the objects of research,research tools,publishing platforms,mode of transmission,recipients,etc.The second chapter is "The Appearance and Carnival of the Grass-roots Critics",elaborating how Grass-roots Literary Critics contend for the discourse power of literary criticism under the New Media environment,combining the specific cases of Grassroots Criticism,discussing its specific performance in aspects of environment,groupment,content,multi-medium and interactive extension.The third chapter is "The Construction of the Ecology and the Symbiotic Field of Literary Criticism",which analyzes the present field of literary criticism in China with Bourdieu’s "field" theory.According to Foucault’s theory of "discourse power" and Bakhtin’s theory of "dialogue",in order to construct an ideal field of literary criticism.It is necessary for all subjects to actively communicate and jointly defend the autonomy of the field.
