One In Three And Three In One:yixiang Interpretation Of Zongmi’s Round Thinking

As the summary of Buddhism in the Sui and Tang dynasties and the Herald of neo-confucianism in the song and Ming Dynasties,Zongmi’s philosophical thought was constructed according to the round thinking.Therefore,the round thinking is the consistent and characteristic of Zongmi’s philosophy,which embodies the inherent identity of noumenon concept and thinking method,and reveals the essence of Chinese philosophy.The so-called “Round”,is the same without exception.However,the root of the harmonious thinking is no more than the source of the road of easy reason.Therefore,different from the previous studies,this paper tries to show the concept of round in Zongmi’s philosophy from the standpoint of “Yi-Dao” and the method of Yixiang interpretation.In a word,the interpretation of Yi-Xiang-Yan is the understanding and interpretation of the symbol,the pattern of construction and the path of context.In terms of ontology,Guifeng Zongmi’s mind-body(metaphysical meaning)is a perfect blend of the three natures of “Kong-Ji-Zhi”.And its development,is the change with the fate(change of the Xiang).Noumenon opens time,time reveals noumenon.Corresponding to the Noumenon,the theory of Zongmi is a perfect harmony of enlightenment and enlightenment.Concretely speaking,it centers on the insight of mind and leads to both ends of enlightenment and cultivation,thus forming the framework of enlightenment and cultivation of knowledge and practice.Zongmi’s thought of perfect harmony has a direct influence on his stand of judging religion.In Yuan Ren Lun and the preface to the annotation of Du Xu,Zongmi interprets the sect as the " Mi Yi Yi Xing Shuo Xiang Jiao ","Mi Yi Po Xiang Xian Xing Jiao " and " Xian Shi Zhen Xin Ji Xing Jiao " that is,the religion of " Xi Wang Xiu Xin ",the religion of " Min Jue Wu Ji" and the religion of "Zhi Xian Xin Xing".Three denominations are used to prove three sects.In a word,Zong Mi’s concept of harmony,but “One in three and three in one”,like one and three,although three and one,one in three,three in one.Embodied in the Noumenon,it is transcendency,root,flexibility,the three into a metaphysical noumenon.Reflected in the time,it is gradually phase,understanding and repair phase,is a circulation of the process.In the ideological framework,the idea of harmony is consistent with Zongmi’s philosophy,so “Ninmenon-Effort-Inquisition”is the third stage of its development.
