| Calligraphy in the Qing Dynasty was supported by academics. The direct inducement of the emergence of stelology in the Qing Dynasty was the inscriptions and stones in the Qing Dynasty, and the bridge between academics and calligraphy was played by collectors of stones and stones.During the reign of Emperor Qianjia-Jia,with the development of the study of lithology, especially after the publication of Ancient Mirror of the Western Qing Dynasty, the trend of collection was flourishing. After Daoxian, the collectors of gold and stone include: Wu Shifen,Wu Yun,Liu Xihai,Pan Zuyin,Chen Jieqi, etc.,who played an important role in promoting the style of calligraphy in the late Qing Dynasty. But in the academic field, they neither belong to the classics and history, nor are they first-class masters of calligraphy and seal cutting,so they have been neglected for a long time.Chen Jieqi is one of the most representative collectors in Qing Dynasty. He was the biggest collector in the late Qing Dynasty.Academically,he was the discoverer and researcher of ancient pottery. On the calligraphy, there is a unique ’fu zi’ writing style. This paper is divided into three chapters, taking Chen Jieqi’s collection of gold and stone as the starting point, trying to discuss the influence of the collection of gold and stone and the practice of passing on the ancient on the calligraphy in the late Qing Dynasty, and re-examining and commenting on Chen Jieqi’s academic position in the history of gold and stone studies and calligraphy in the Qing Dynasty. The first chapter introduces Chen Jieqi’s breakthroughs in Tibetan, ancient and interpretation. The original intention and purpose of Chen Jieqi’s collection of gold and stone was to pass on the ancient times and study the characters of the three generations."Shizhongshanfang" was the largest dissemination center of gold and stone rubbings in the late Qing Dynasty.Chen Jieqi’s position in the study of gold and stone should be the same as Wu Dacheng’s pioneer in the study of the characters of the Warring States Period. The second chapter is the study on Chen Jieqi’s calligraphy, especially the ’fu zai’body.Chen’s ’fu’ body was related to the discovery of the ’fu’ writing on the Warring States Period(Warring States Period),as well as the accumulation of ancient seals and mud seals. The ’fu’ composition was based on the drawing of the ’fu’ writing on the Warring States Period(Warring States Period). The third chapter is the key chapter of this paper, mainly analyzes the influence of Chen Jieqi’s collection of gold and stone and his practice of passing on the ancient to the calligraphers and seal cutters of the late Qing Dynasty.Calligraphy with He Shaoji,Wu Dacheng,Wang Yirong as examples;Wu Changshuo and Huang Shiling were taken as examples on seal cutting.Chen Jieqi’s collection of gold and stone and his practice of passing on ancient materials accelerated the change from small seal script calligraphy to large seal script calligraphy in the late Qing Dynasty, and promoted the change from the single acquisition of inscriptions to the extensive acquisition of pottery inscriptions, seals, ancient seals and mirrors. The calligraphers and collectors of the Qing Dynasty jointly promoted and led the academic atmosphere of the Qing Dynasty, and directly influenced the calligraphy atmosphere of the Qing Dynasty through the academic atmosphere. This phenomenon is relatively rare in the past dynasties,is a very key link in the study of the history of calligraphy in the Qing Dynasty, and should be given corresponding academic status. |
