| As an outstanding regional film,Hong Kong film has become the "art of entertainment" with its mature industrial model,excellent entertainment and amazing output.In the relatively short but extremely glorious development history of Hong Kong film,urban space has never been absent.As a modern city,Hong Kong’s urban style,urban life,and urban consciousness are all presented in films.In Hong Kong films,we can feel the breath of Hong Kong’s city and grasp the pulse of Hong Kong’s space.The "Flaneur",as a prototype of modern people in Benjamin’s writings that examines modernity and interdependence with the city,is also shown in Hong Kong films.Its dual identity as an aesthetic practitioner and an urban critic makes it an excellent perspective of investigation of urban space in Hong Kong films.This thesis traces the context of the presentation of urban space in Hong Kong films,summarizes the different ways of writing urban space in Hong Kong films in different periods,sorts out and defines the concept of flaneurs,so as to grasp the relationship between urban space and flaneurs.On this basis,this thesis summarizes the development of the image of flaneurs in Hong Kong films in different periods,explores the aesthetic shift of flaneurs after the 1980s,and then lists five different images of urban flaneurs in Hong Kong films during 1978 and 1997.Following in the footsteps of the flaneurs,this thesis summarize the unique spatial images of Hong Kong films in the perspective of the flaneurs,and explore the contemporary psychology and spiritual space of Hong Kong people reflected by it.Finally,this thesis summarizes the urban imagination and urban space aesthetics that belong to the flaneurs through the urban space construction model in the flaneurs’ vision. |
