Objective: To investigate the correlation between serum Peroxidase(GSH-Px),Superoxide Dismutase(SOD),Catalase(CAT)and autonomic nervous dysfunction in Parkinson’s disease, the level of serum GSH-Px,SOD and CAT levels were detected.Furthermore, the predictive value and diagnostic value of serum GSH-Px,SOD,CAT levels on the severity of autonomic dysfunction in Parkinson’s disease were further discussed,so as to provide blood marker indicators for the early diagnosis of patients with Parkinson’s disease complicated with autonomic dysfunction.Method:Thirty-five patients with PD complicated with autonomic nervous dysfunction were collected from Nanxishan Hospital. They were enrolled as PD-autonomic nervous dysfunction group, and the control group consists of thirty-five patients with similar gender and age in health examination department of Nanxishan hospital.Basic data such as age, sex, basic diseases and diseases(complications)were collected.Autonomic nervous function of PD patients was assessed, according to the SCOPA-AUT scoring standard(SCales for Outputs in Parkinson’s disease AUtonic questionnaire). The patients were divided into mild dysfunction group(SCOPA-AUT score <thirteen)and severe dysfunction group(SCOPA-AUT score ≥ thirteen).By enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(ELSIA),the differences of serum GSH-Px,SOD,CAT levels between PD-autonomic dysfunction group and control group were determined.Further Receiven operating characteristic curve(ROC)was used to analyze serum GSH-Px,SOD and CAT levels and diagnose PD-autonomic nervous dysfunction.Furthermore, serum GSH-Px,SOD and CAT levels and the diagnosis of PD-autonomic nervous dysfunction were analyzed using Receiven operating characteristic curve(ROC).Result : 1.Levels of GSH-Px,SOD,CAT in serum of PD-autonomic dysfunction group are significantly lower than those in control group(P<0.05).2.In the PD-autonomic dysfunction group, the levels of GSH-Px,SOD,CAT in serum of the severe dysfunction group are obvious lower than those in the mild dysfunction group(P<0.05).3.In PD-autonomic dysfunction group, the levels of GSH-Px and CAT in serum are obvious negatively correlated with H-Y stage and SCOPA-AUT score(P<0.05).4.The area under the ROC curve(AUC)of GSH-Px in serum for predicting the occurrence of severe PD-autonomic nervous dysfunction is 0.822(95%CI: 0.893-0.974,P<0.05),the sensitivity is84.23%,and the specificity is 87.5%.The area under ROC curve(AUC)of SOD in serum for predicting the occurrence of serve PD-autonomic nervous dysfunction is 0.709(95%CI: 0.534-0.884,P<0.05),the sensitivity is 63.2%,and the specificity is 75.0%.The area under ROC curve(AUC)of CAT in serum for predicting the occurrence of severe PD-autonomic dysfunction is0.793(95%CI: 0.638-0.948,P<0.05),the sensitivity is 78.9%,and the specificity is 81.2%.Conclusion:Compared with the control group, the levels of GSH-Px,SOD,CAT in serum for PD-autonomic dysfunction group are decreased, and the levels of GSH-Px,SOD,CAT in serum are further decreased with the progression of disease stages and the aggravation of autonomic dysfunction. The levels of GSH-Px,SOD,CAT in serum have a certain ability to diagnose and predict the occurrence of PD complicated with autonomic nervous dysfunction.
