Observation Of Clinical Efficacy With Jiawei Shenling Baizhu Powder For Treating Stroke-Associated Pneumonia Of Lung-Spleen-Qi Deficiency Syndrome

Objective: To observe the curative effect and safety of Jiawei Shenling Baizhu Powder in the treatment of Stroke-associated pneumonia with lung-spleen-qi deficiency syndrome.Methods: A total of 64 patients who met the inclusion and exclusion criteria were selected and divided into control group(32 cases)and treatment group(32 cases)according to random number table method.The control group was treated with Western medicine according to expert consensus,and the treatment group was combined with Jiawei Shenling Baizhu Powder on the basis of the control group,with a treatment cycle of 14 days.Changes of the National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale(NIHSS),TCM syndrome scores,White Blood Cell(WBC),Procalcitonin(PCT),C-reactive Protein(CRP),Immunoglobulin A(Ig A),Immunoglobulin G(Ig G),Immunoglobulin M(Ig M)and safety indicators were observed between two groups before and after treatment.SPSS26.0 software was used to analyze the data and comprehensively evaluate the efficacy and safety of the two groups of drugs.Results:1.Baseline comparison: before treatment,the date such as age,gender,course of disease,combined diseases were well distributed and comparable between the two groups(P>0.05).2.The curative effect of TCM syndrome: after treatment,the effective rate of the treatment group was 90.0%,which was higher than that of the control group(67.7%),and there was statistical difference between the two groups(P<0.05).3.TCM syndrome score: there was no statistical difference between the two groups before treatment(P>0.05).After treatment,the scores of the two groups were lower than those before treatment(P<0.05),and the score improvement of the treatment group was better than that of the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).4.NIHSS score: there was no statistically significant difference between the two groups before treatment(P>0.05).After treatment,the scores of the two groups were lower than those before treatment(P<0.05),and the score improvement of the treatment group was better than that of the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).5.Inflammatory indicators: there were no statistically significant differences in the levels of WBC,CRP and PCT between the two groups before treatment(P>0.05).After treatment,the levels of WBC,CRP and PCT in the two groups were lower than those before treatment(P<0.05).The reduction of degree in the treatment group was better than that in the control group,and the difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05).6.Immune indicators: there were no statistically significant differences in the levels of Ig A,Ig M and Ig G between the two groups before treatment(P>0.05).After treatment,the levels of Ig A,Ig M and Ig G in the two groups were higher than those before treatment(P<0.05),and the improvement of Ig M and Ig G levels in the treatment group was better than that in the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The improvement of Ig A in the treatment group showed no obvious advantage(P<0.05).7.Safety comparison: No serious adverse reactions were observed in both groups during treatment.Conclusions: Jiawei Shenling Baizhu powder combined with conventional Western medicine treatment can improve the clinical efficacy of patients with lung-spleen-qi deficiency type stroke-associated pneumonia.It has more advantages than simple Western medicine in improving TCM syndromes,promoting neurological function recovery,reducing inflammatory indicators and improving immune function,which is worthy of further research and promotion.
