Objective:Apply the hidden structure analysis method to analyze the TCM status characteristics of people with chronic fatigue syndrome, identify the status according to different characteristics, and study the TCM status classification techniques applicable to group-based services for sick people. Methods:A population of 300 cases of chronic fatigue syndrome who visited the treatment center of Jilin Provincial Hospital of TCM from December 2021 to June 2022 were included, and the management collection system built by the group in the online medical research service platform was used to record the patients’ basic personal information and clinical symptom performance, and according to "yes,no " have each symptom information, and enter "1,0" respectively.According to the expert suggestion, screen the symptom information that appears more than 5% and not less than 95% of the frequency for effective hidden structure analysis.Using Lantern software, the screened symptom data were imported to obtain the hidden structure model. Finally the model interpretation results were combined with TCM identification theory to analyze the CFS population characteristics, and TCM state identification was performed according to the population characteristics.Results:1.After statistical analysis, the most frequent symptom of CFS patients was amnesia, accounting for 53.00%.The next most frequent symptoms were coughing and wheezing, atrophy, shortness of breath and lazy speech, and sweating when moving, with frequencies of 44.67%,43.67%,37.00%,and 34.67%,respectively.2.6 TCM status types were obtained by implicit structure method analysis, namely: heart-lung qi deficiency state, spleen deficiency with phlegm and dampness state, stomach fire incandescence state, liver depression with qi stagnation and blood stasis state,liver-kidney yin deficiency with hyperactivity state, and kidney yang deficiency with water flooding state. After identifying the evidence according to the rules of identification, the population distribution of each TCM state is as follows:136 people with heart-lung deficiency state in the upper jiao,141 people with deficiency-full internal heat state in the middle jiao,57 people with liver depression and stagnation of blood stasis state in the lower jiao,36 people with liver-kidney yin deficiency and hyperactivity state, and 47 people with kidney-yang deficiency and water flooding state.Conclusion:1.The population distribution of CFS TCM status is mainly in the upper and middle jiao. The symptoms of CFS are mainly deficiency of the five organs, interspersed with real evils such as qi stagnation, phlegm and dampness, blood stasis and fire evil, and the real manifestations are rarely seen alone.2.The etiology of the disease includes excessive exertion, emotional and mental disorders, poor diet, and congenital endowment deficiency. The pathogenesis of the disease is that the above causes lead to weakness of the body’s qi and blood, yin and yang,or abnormal operation of qi,resulting in a state of deficiency of the internal organs. The key to the pathogenesis is deficiency and internal heat in the middle jiao, and the treatment should focus on regulating the spleen and stomach in the middle jiao.3.To achieve group-based services for the CFS population, the holistic concept and prevention before illness should be emphasized, and the disease-prone groups should be identified and prevented according to the characteristics of the TCM status of the diseased population. The group-based TCM treatment model should not only rely on individualized evidence-based treatment, but also combine the identification of symptoms and TCM status.
