Clinical Study On Xiaoyao Powder And Liujunzi Decoction Treating Senile AIDS(liver Depression And Spleen Deficiency Type)

Objective:To observe the safety and clinical efficacy of Xiaoyao Powder and Liujunzi Decoction in the treatment of elderly AIDS patients with liver depression and spleen deficiency,and to offer method for the clinical remedy of elderly AIDS.Methods:In this study,divided equally the 72 elderly patients with liver depression and spleen deficiency who met AIDS diagnostic criteria into control group and laboratorial group at random.HAART was used semplice to cure the patients of control group,and Xiaoyao Powder He Liujunzi Decoction +HAART was for curing patients of laboratorial group.The treatment course was 24 weeks.Analyzed the basic data of the two groups,incorporating gender,age,duration of HAART remedy and distribution of the number of patients receiving HAART remedy.Before and after remedy,CD4+ lymphocyte count,HIV viral load,HIV/AIDS TCM symptom score of liver depression and spleen deficiency were examined,measured,observed for safety and evaluated for effective rate of therapy in the two groups.SPSS26.0 was used for statistical analysis of relevant data.Results:1.Comparison of basic dataThere were no prominent discrepancies in gender,age,duration of HAART remedy and the number of patients receiving HAART remedy between the two groups(P > 0.05),voting compatibility between the two groups.2.Comparison of CD4+ lymphocyte count and effective rateBefore remedy,the mean CD4+ lymphocyte count of the laboratorial group was298.84±44.27,and the control group was 296.51±39.70,the discrepancy was not statistically significant(P > 0.05),and two groups were comparable.After remedy,the mean CD4+ lymphocyte count was 332.88±81.55 in laboratorial group and 468.58±175.82 in control group,and the discrepancy was statistically significant(P < 0.01).And the valid rate of elevated CD4+ cells in laboratorial group was 55.88%,and the control group was6.06%,which was higher in laboratorial group than control group,and the discrepancy was statistically significant(P < 0.01).3.Comparison of TCM symptom scores of liver depression and spleen deficiency in HIV/AIDS and observation of treatment effectivenessBefore remedy,there was no prominent discrepancies in the scores of TCM symptoms of liver depression and spleen deficiency between two groups(P > 0.05),indicating comparability.After remedy,the scores of bitter mouth,irritability,thorax and hypochthole,diarrhea score and total score of laboratorial group were observably lower than control group(P < 0.01),and diarrhea score was lower than control group(P < 0.05),the discrepancy was statistically significant.The total valid rate was 93.94% in laboratorial group and 18.18% in control group,and the discrepancy was statistically significant(P <0.01).4.HIV viral load measurementThe HIV load values of both groups before and after remedy were lower than the prescribed minimum of the instrument detection(20 copies/ml),and the virus inhibition was stable in both groups during the observation period.Conclusions:Compared with HAART alone,Xiaoyao Powder and Liujunzi Decoction combined with HAART can observably elevate the level of CD4+ lymphocytes and sustain HIV viral load below the prescribed minimum of detection.Xiaoyao Powder and Liujunzi Decoction can not only enhance the immune function of gerontal AIDS patients with liver depression and spleen deficiency,but also reduce the clinical symptoms of patients,especially the common symptoms of liver depression and spleen deficiency,such as bitter mouth,irritability,chest and stomach distention,boredom,diarrhea.It is suggested that gerontal AIDS patients with liver depression and spleen deficiency should be treated with HAART combined with Xiaoyao Powder and Liujunzi Decoction.
