Objective: To offer objective support for the clinical therapeutic impact of Jiawei Shaofu Zhuyu Decoction and to elucidate the clinical effectiveness and safety of Jiawei Shaofu Zhuyu Decoction retention enema in the treatment of ulcerative colitis with stasis obstructing intestines and collaterals syndrome. Methods:Each research participant was assigned a number based on the order of the initial consultation time, separated into treatment and control groups, and then randomly allocated using the random number table approach, and the treatment group was given preserved enema with Shao Abdominal Expulsion Soup combined with oral mesalazine, and the control group was given oral mesalazine alone, mainly to observe the clinical efficacy,Chinese medical evidence efficacy, endoscopic response rate, mucosal healing rate, modified Mayo score, inflammatory indexes(ESR,CRP),inflammatory bowel disease survival quality(IBDQ)score, recurrence rate and safety indexes.Result:(1)Clinical efficiency: the clinical efficacy of the treatment group was higher than that of the control group(P = 0.046 < 0.05)with a clinical efficiency of 90.32%compared to a clinical efficacy of 70.00%;(2)Clinical remission rate: The treatment group’s clinical remission rate was 87.10%,compared to the control group’s clinical remission rate of 63.33%.This indicates that the treatment group did a better job of promoting clinical remission than the control group did.(P = 0.031 < 0.05);(3)TCM symptom scores:(1)single TCM symptom scores: after treatment in both groups,P>0.05 for There was no statistically significant difference between the treatment group and the control group in terms of symptoms of diarrhea and posterior urgency, and P0.05 for the two groups in terms of alleviating stomach pain,mucus-purulent-blood stools, chest and fullness,intra-abdominal masses, and skin nail fault symptoms,The discrepancy was statistically significant,The difference was statistically significant, indicating that the treatment group was better than the control group at improving symptoms of abdominal pain,mucus-based purgation, and bloody stool, chest and intra-abdominal mass, and skin nail fault.(2)Total TCM symptom score: both groups were able to improve the total TCM symptom score of patients(P = 0.001 < 0.05),indicating that the efficacy of adding Shao Abdominal Expelling Stasis Tang combined with mesalazine in improving TCM symptoms was better than that of mesalazine alone;(4)TCM symptom efficacy: Total efficacy was 90.32% in the treatment group and 83.33% in the control group, with the treatment group outperforming the control group.(P = 0.039 < 0.05);(5)endoscopic response rate: 64.51% in the treatment group 36.66% in the control group, with the treatment group performing better than control group.(P = 0.030 < 0.05);(6)mucosal healing rate: 40.62% in the treatment group and 26.66% in the control group, with no statistical difference in mucosal healing rate between the two groups(P = 0.210 < 0.05);(7)Modified Mayo score, inflammatory indexes(ESR,CRP),inflammatory bowel disease survival quality(IBDQ)before and after treatment(P < 0.05),The difference is statistically significant, with the treatment group performing better than the control group.(8)Recurrence rate: The recurrence rate is 3.23% in the treatment group and 23.33% in the control group, and the difference is statistically significant(P = 0.026 < 0.05),and the treatment group was better than the control group. Conclusion:The combination of preserved enema with Shao Abdominal Expelling Stasis soups and magazines can significantly increase clinical efficacy, induce symptom relief, promote mucosal healing, and improve the symptoms of TCM in ulcerative colon with stagnant intestinal complex evidence better than the treatment of mesalazine alone with western medicine, and has a high safety rating,This could be a treatment option for patients with evidence of colic and stasis blocking intestinal channels.
