ObjectiveTo study the efficacy of Tuina combined with motor control exercise on low back pain with motor coordination impairments, and to explore the effect of Tuina combined with motor control exercise on low back pain with movement coordination impairments based on ultrasound.MethodsThe randomized controlled trial design was used, and 62 patients with low back pain with movement coordination impairments who met the criteria were randomly divided into 31 cases each in the motor control exercise group and Tuina combined with motor control exercise group, and were given three times a week for 4 weeks. All patients were treated with Visual Analogue Scale(VAS),Oswestry Disability Index(ODI)and The MOS 36-Item Short-Form Health Survey(SF-36)before treatment and 4 weeks after treatment, and musculoskeletal ultrasound was used to measure diaphragm mobility, diaphragm thickness, transverse abdominis muscle thickness and multifissure muscle thickness before and after treatment.Results1.In terms of VAS: there was no significant difference in VAS between the two groups before treatment(P>0.05);the VAS of the two groups was statistically significant before and after treatment(P<0.05);the VAS of the Tuina combined with motor control exercise group after treatment was lower than that in the motor control exercise group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).2.In terms of ODI: there was no significant difference in ODI between the two groups before treatment(P>0.05);the ODI of the two groups was statistically significant before and after treatment(P<0.05);the ODI of the Tuina combined with motor control exercise group after treatment was lower than that in the motor control exercise group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).3.In terms of SF-36: there was no significant difference between SF-36 between the two groups before treatment(P>0.05);the SF-36 of the two groups was statistically significant before and after treatment(P<0.05);the SF-36 in the Tuina combined with motor control exercise group after treatment was greater than that in the motor control exercise group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).4.In terms of musculoskeletal ultrasound measurement: there was no significant difference in diaphragm mobility, diaphragm thickening fraction, transverse abdominis muscle thickness and multifissure muscle thickness between the two groups before treatment(P>0.05);there were statistically significant differences in diaphragm mobility(forced breathing),diaphragm thickening fraction, transverse abdominal muscle thickness, and multifissure muscle thickness between the two groups before and after treatment(P<0.05),and the difference in diaphragm activity(calm breathing)between the two groups before and after treatment was not statistically significant(P>0.05);there were no significant differences in diaphragm mobility, diaphragm thickening fraction, transverse abdominis muscle thickness, and multifissure muscle thickness between the two groups after treatment(P>0.05).Conclusion1.Tuina combined with motor control exercise can effectively reduce pain, improve lumbar function and improve health status in patients with low back pain with motor coordination impairments, and the clinical effect is better than that of simple motor control exercise.2.Tuina combined with motor control exercise significantly increased diaphragm mobility when breathing hard, diaphragm thickening fraction, transverse abdominis muscle thickness and multifissure muscle thickness in patients with low back pain with movement coordination impairments. |
