| Objective: To understand the characteristics of anatomical parameters of knee joint in healthy adults in Hainan area,and to provide reference for the selection of suitable prostheses in knee replacement surgery and to lay a foundation for the development of regional population knee joint prostheses in the future.Methods: Healthy adult volunteers from Hainan who met the inclusion criteria were screened and completed lower limb CT examination.3D reconstruction was performed using Mimics using CT data.The selected measurement parameters were measured using the software’s built-in tools.Width of femoral condyle,width of medial femoral condyle,width of lateral femoral condyle,sagittal length of medial femoral condyle,sagittal length of lateral femoral condyle,angle of medial femoral condyle,angle of lateral femoral condyle,tibial anteroposterior width,width of tibial platform,tibial medial anteroposterior width,tibial lateral anteroposterior width,height of patella,width of patella,depth of patella,All the measured data in this study were statistically analyzed and analyzed by SPSS24.0 software,and grouped by gender and age group.The anatomical parameters of the knee joint in Hainan were analyzed and compared with those in other regions of China and foreign countries,especially Caucasians.Results: A total of 314 volunteers(201 males and 113 females)aged 18-70 were enrolled in this study.The measured data were expressed as mean ± SD(±s).The width of femoral condyle was(77.43±6.09)mm,sagittal length of lateral femoral condyle was(61.61±4.21)mm,sagittal length of medial femoral condyle was(58.54±4.22)mm,width of lateral femoral condyle was(26.48±2.85)mm,width of medial femoral condyle was(25.77±2.70)mm,and angle of medial femoral condyle(78.30±5.37)°,angle of lateral femoral condyle(87.40±5.81)°,width of tibial platform(72.37±6.32)mm,tibial anteroposterior width(48.67±4.18)mm,tibial medial anteroposterior width(46.68±4.87)mm,tibial lateral anteroposterior width(47.27±4.52)mm,height of patella(41.13±3.86)mm,width of patella(43.02±4.91)mm,depth of patella(21.58±2.56)mm.According to the obtained data,we found that the anatomical parameters of distal femur of Hainan population were compared,except that the angle of lateral femoral condyle of male and female were 87.35°±6.78° and 87.49°±3.52°respectively,which were close to each other and the difference was not statistically significant,the measured values of male were generally greater than that of female.The difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).According to Pearson correlation analysis,width of femoral condyle and width of tibial platform,sagittal length of medial femoral condyle and sagittal length of lateral femoral condyle were significantly positively correlated.Width of medial femoral condyle and tibial medial anteroposterior width,height of patella and width of patella,height of patella and depth of patella were positively correlated.The comparison between the anatomical parameters of normal adult knee joint in Hainan area and those of domestic scholars found that there were slight differences in different regions and different parameters,and the differences increased compared with foreign countries.Conclusions: 1.Among the 14 parameters measured in this study,it was found that except for the angle of lateral femoral condyle,there was no difference between genders,other anatomical parameters of knee joint were different between genders,that is,males were larger than females and the difference was statistically significant.2.There are slight differences between the anatomical parameters of knee joints in normal people in Hainan and the research results of domestic scholars,and the differences are statistically significant,and the differences are even greater among the same Caucasians. |
