| Research background and purpose:Based on the Ottawa Decision Support Framework theory, this study comprehensively explores the information demands of cancer patients in participating in the advance care planning according to the positive orientation and positive influence of decision aid tools, and combined with evidence-based,expert consultation, and multidisciplinary team collaboration to complete the prototyping of ACP decision aid tools.Provide information support for clinical intervention research to further the realization of advance care planning.Methods:1.Qualitative Study on the Demand of Cancer Patients to Participate in ACP.An in-depth interview of 11 cancer patients was conducted using descriptive studies. Then,Colaizzi’s seven-step analysis method was used to extract the research results and analyze the data, and explore the current needs of cancer patients in the process of participating in advance care plans.2.Systematic Evaluation of the Development Status of the ACP decision aid tools. The Internet-based ACP decision aid tools were systematically evaluated, and the functional characteristics and application effects of Internet decision aid tools were summarized.3.Construction of ACP Decision aid Solutions for cancer patients.Based on the previous literature review, qualitative research and systematic evaluation, the ACP decision support tool scheme for cancer patients was constructed and improved based on the decision support framework of Ottawa,Canada, and the guidance of multidisciplinary experts.4.Research on Prototyping of Decision Aid Tool for Cancer Patients in Advance Care Planning.According to the final version of the ACP decision aid tool scheme for cancer patients, the research group and the software design team collaborated to complete the design and research of the prototype of the ACP decision aid tool for cancer patients.Results:1.Cancer Patients have Diverse Needs in advance care planning.Through qualitative studies,it has been found that cancer patients in China generally have low awareness of ACP,but after a comprehensive understanding of the connotation of ACP,the acceptance of ACP is higher. In the specific participation process, the needs include physical comfort,self-dignity realization, independent choice,decision-making agency,decision-making information,decision-making communication and social support needs.2.Development Status of Decision aids for Internet ACP in foreign countries.Through systematic evaluation,it is found that foreign Internet ACP decision-making aids have diverse forms and complete functions, and have complete ACP information education and detailed ACP decision-making paths.3.Construction of ACP Decision aid Solutions for Cancer Patients On the basis of the previous research results, through the revision suggestions of multidisciplinary expert consultation, the final version of the plan was finally formed, the main contents include: decision support information,ACP decision path,ACP decision consultation and decision evaluation preparation4.Prototyping Study of ACP decision aid tool for Cancer Patients. The program prototype includes: home page, decision information, decision path,my information and other four main functional areas; The home page contains decision-making evaluation, preparation, consultation, education, etc.,the decision-making information mainly covers the basic information of cardiopulmonary resuscitation, respiratory support, hemodialysis, and nutritional support, and the decision-making path includes four major steps: program comparison,self-preference,knowledge assessment, and decision confirmation.Conclusion:1.Based on scientific theoretical basis and reasonable research methods,a scientific and feasible, professional and authoritative, rigorous and effective ACP decision aid scheme for cancer patients was constructed.2.The interface and functional prototype framework of ACP decision aids for cancer patients were innovatively designed using mobile health care as the carrier, which opened a precedent for the research and design of network ACP decision aids in China, laid the foundation for subsequent software development, and promoted the development of our country’s hospice care industry. |
