Objective: To study the effect of thyroid autoantibodies(TAA)on the treatment outcome of patients with poor ovarian response(POR)in the Poseidon stratified groups 1a and 2a who received conventional in vitro fertilization/intracytoplasmic sperm injection(IVF/ICSI-ET).Methods: This study retrospectively studied 82 cycles of patients who received IVF/ICSI treatment and were diagnosed as having unexpected PSOR under the Poseidon classification criteria in the Reproductive Center of the First Affiliated Hospital of Xinjiang Medical University from January 2018 to December 2021.According to the TAA presence or absence, the patients with unexpected PSOR in each of the Poseidon stratified groups 1a and 2a were divided into a TAA-positive group and a TAA-negative group respectively, and the embryo situation and the pregnancy outcome of the four groups after IVF/ICSI treatment were analyzed. Results: 1)Of the patients in the poseidon stratified subgroup 1a,the AMH of the patients of the TAA-positive group was lower than that of the patients of the TAA-negative group, with the difference being statistically significant(P <0.05);there was no statistically significant difference in the number of eggs obtained, the normal fertilization rate of IVF,the normal fertilization rate of ICSI,the 2PN cleavage number, the cleavage rate, the number of effective embryos, the rate of excellent embryos and the number of transplanted embryos between the two groups(with P > 0.05 in all cases);the abortion rate of the patients of the TAA positive group was higher than that of the patients of the TAA negative group, with the difference being statistically significant(P <0.05).2)Of the patients in the poseidon stratified subgroup 2a,the AMH of the patients of the TAA positive group was lower than that of the patients of the TAA negative group, with the difference being statistically significant(P < 0.05);there was no statistically significant difference in the number of eggs obtained, the normal fertilization rate of IVF,the normal fertilization rate of ICSI,the 2PN cleavage number, the cleavage rate, the number of effective embryos, the rate of excellent embryos and the number of transplanted embryos between the two groups(with P > 0.05 in all cases);the abortion rate of the patients of the TAA positive group was higher than that of the patients of the TAA negative group, with the difference being statistically significant(P < 0.05).Conclusion: Simple TAA positive may increase the risk of abortion after IVF/ICSI treatment in patients with unexpected PSOR. |
