Objective: Triacylglycerol glucose index(Ty G)and plasma atherosclerosis index(AIP)have been shown to be independent cardiovascular risk factors with potential prognostic power for primary screening, risk stratification, and prognostic determination in patients with cardiovascular disease. The aim of this study was to assess the prognostic value of the Ty G index,AIP index, and the occurrence of adverse cardiovascular events in patients with acute heart attack combined with hypertension.METHODS:At 1-year follow-up,Our findings indicate a significant correlation between elevated Ty G values and an increased risk of adverse cardiovascular events(P<0.05).In the Ty G index subgroup,we observed that individuals with lower Ty G index values had a higher survival rate compared to those with higher Ty G index values, and this difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).In a variational COX regression analysis,Ty G index was an independent risk factor for adverse cardiovascular events 1 year after total revascularization by PCI in patients with acute myocardial infarction complicated by hypertension(HR=2.349,95%CI:1.338-4.124,P<0.05).and AIP index both predicted acute myocardial infarction with adverse cardiovascular events in hypertensive patients. The diagnostic value of the Ty G index was significantly greater than the AIP index in predicting adverse cardiovascular events after PCI in hypertensive patients.RESULTS:At1-year follow-up,the incidence of adverse cardiovascular events increased significantly with increasing Ty G index(P<0.05);In the subgroup analysis of the Ty G index,it was observed that individuals with a low Ty G index had a significantly longer survival compared to those with the high Ty G index(P<0.05).Furthermore,COX multivariate regression analysis confirmed that Ty G index was an independent risk factor for recurrent MACE within one year after completion of revascularisation by emergency PCI in patients with acute infarction with hypertension(HR=2.349,95% CI: 1.338-4.124,p<0.05.).ROC-curve analysis showed that both the Ty G index and AIP index predicted acute myocardial infarction combined with adverse cardiovascular events in patients with hypertension. The Ty G index demonstrated greater diagnostic value than the AIP index in predicting adverse cardiovascular events following PCI in hypertensive patients.CONCLUSION:The Ty G index is an independent predictor of the development of MACE after completion of emergency revascularisation in acute MI patients with long-term hypertension. When combined with the AIP index,it offers a more accurate prediction of adverse cardiovascular events and can be utilized for clinical prognostic assessment. The AIP index is expected to be used for clinical prognostic evaluation.
