| Objective:To explore the diagnostic value of fiberoptic endoscopic examination of swallowing(FEES)combined with dye test in patients with post-stroke dysphagia andsilent aspiration. Methods:From December,2021 to June,2022,50 stroke patients in the Rehabilitation Department of Xuzhou Central Hospital were selected. They were assessed with FEES combined with dye test and video-fluoroscopic swallowing study(VFSS),and compared. Results:FEES had a higher detection rate of aspiration than VFSS(χ~2=7.000,P<0.05),and also a higher detection rate of aspiration when consuming liquid food(χ~2=4.000,P<0.05).There was no significant difference in aspiration assessment between FESS and VFSS when consuming paste and solid food(P>0.05).There was a good consistency when consuming paste food(k=0.941,P<0.001)and better consistency when consuming solid food(k=0.779,P<0.001).There was no significance in the food residue site between two methods(P>0.05),and it has good consistency(k=0.818,P<0.001).There was no significance in the food residue site of three food types between two methods(P>0.05),and they all had good consistency(k>0.8,P<0.001).There was no significant difference in the scores of Penetration Aspiration Scale of three food types between two methods(P>0.05).Conclusion:FEES combined with dye test plays an important role in patients with silent aspiration after stroke, have high sensitivity. |
