ObjectiveThrough the clinical epidemiological investigation of TCM constitution, syndrome and its related factors in patients with uterine leiomyoma, this paper analyzes the biased tendency of constitution in patients with uterine leiomyoma, and probes into the relationship between the susceptible constitution, syndrome and the susceptible factors.Combined with the thought of “Treating pre-disease” in TCM,so as to provide some ideas for preventing the occurrence, development and transformation of uterine leiomyoma.MethodFollowing the thought of epidemiological investigation, taking the method of sampling investigation,a cross-sectional study was carried out on120 patients with uterine leiomyoma diagnosed in the first hospital affiliated with Heilongjiang University of Traditional Chinese Medicine from December2021 to March 2023,and 60 healthy people from the same year who were treated in the physical examination centre, collecting the constitution questionnaire and general information.Integrated with SPSS software to explore the correlation and draw the corresponding conclusions.Result1.There are three common types of uterine leiomyoma, the blood stuck constitution accounted for 35%,gas stagnation constitution accounted for24.2%,the phlegm constitution accounted for 17.5%.2.Analysis of the general information.Age,family history, stress status, emotional status, smoking, body mass index and abortion frequency exist obvious difference(p<0.05),but marital status, occupation, number of pregnancies and sleeping time obvious no difference.(p>0.05).3.The distribution of TCM Syndrome of 120 cases of uterine leiomyoma is the most in gas stagnation and the blood stuck syndrome, accounted for59.17%,followed by the phlegm and blood stuck syndrome accounted for 17.5%.4.The distribution of 6 kinds of TCM Syndrome of uterine leiomyoma were statistically significant with qi-deficiency,yang-deficiency,yindeficiency,the phlegm constitution,dampness-heat,the blood stuck constitution, gas stagnation constitution(p<0.05).5.The distribution of 6 kinds of TCM Syndrome of uterine leiomyoma were statistically significant with stress status, emotional status, smoking, body mass index(p<0.05).Conclusion1.The occurrence of uterine leiomyoma is closely related to the constitution, showing the phenomenon of biased aggregation, mainly blood stuck constitution and gas stagnation constitution.2.The incidence of uterine leiomyoma was positively correlated with age, family history, stress status, emotional status, smoking, body mass index and the frequency of abortion, but not to marital status, occupation, number of pregnancies and sleeping time.3.The TCM syndrome of uterine leiomyoma is more common in gas stagnation and the blood stuck syndrome, the phlegm and blood stuck syndrome.4.The distribution of 6 kinds of TCM Syndrome of uterine leiomyoma were associated with qi-deficiency,yang-deficiency,yin-deficiency,the phlegm constitution,dampness-heat,the blood stuck constitution, gas stagnation constitution.5.The distribution of 6 kinds of TCM Syndrome of uterine leiomyoma were related with stress status, emotional status, smoking, body mass index.6.According to the thought of “Treating pre-disease”,carrying out constitution identification and early intervention that toward the susceptible constitution and factors of uterine leiomyoma,it can provide basis for clinical prevention and treatment of uterine leiomyoma.
