| Objective: To investigate the expression of fosl-1,β-catenin and Wnt protein in children’s nephroblastoma, and to explore the relationship between fosl-1,β-catenin and Wnt protein and the occurrence, metastasis and prognosis of children’s nephroblastoma. Methods: The expression of fosl-1,β-catenin and Wnt proteins in 57 cases of nephroblastoma and it’s adjacent tissues were detected by immunohistochemistry. The relationship between three proteins and clinical data of patients was analyzed.COX multivariate regression analysis was used to investigate the relationship between their expression and prognosis. Results: The high expression rate of Fosl-1 protein was 54.4%(31/57)in renal blastoma carcinoma tissues and 24.6%(14/57)in paracanceroma tissues.Tumor metastasis was found in all the wilms expressing Fosl-1 protein(14/14).In terms of tumor size,TNM stage, metastasis and other clinical characteristics, the expression of Fosl-1 in cancer tissue and paracancer tissue was statistically significant(P<0.05).The abnormal expression rate of β-catenin in cancer tissues was 42.1%(24/57),and the abnormal expression rate of β-catenin in paracancer tissues was 22.8%(13/57).In terms of clinical features of metastasis,β-catenin expression in paracancular tissues was significantly different(P<0.05).The abnormal expression rate of Wnt protein was 43.9%(29/57)in cancer tissue and 21.1%(12/57)in paracancer tissue. In terms of TNM stage, metastasis and other clinical characteristics,Wnt protein expression difference in cancer tissue and adjacent tissue was statistically significant(P<0.05).This study suggested that the high and abnormal expression rates of Fosl-1,β-catenin and Wnt proteins in cancer tissues were higher than those in paracarcinous tissues(P<0.05).In terms of clinical features such as TNM staging and metastasis, the abnormal expression of Fosl-1 and Wnt protein was statistically significant in cancer and paracancellular tissues(P<0.05);In the case of tumor metastasis,β-catenin abnormal expression was significantly different in paracancer tissues(P<0.05).Cox multivariate regression analysis showed that metastasis status and β-catenin abnormal expression had independent influence on the prognosis of children with nephroblastoma(P<0.05).The survival curve showed that high expression of Fosl-1,abnormal expression of β-catenin and Wnt reduced the survival rate of children with wilms tumor. Conclusion: Fosl-1,β-catenin and Wnt proteins may be involved in the metastasis of wilms blastoma and are associated with the prognosis, and β-catenin has an independent effect on the survival rate of children with wilms blastoma, providing a new idea and theoretical basis for the diagnosis and treatment of wilms blastoma. |
