Objective To investigate the feasibility and safety of self-made single-port laparoscopic approach platform and micro-channel transumbilical single-port laparoscopic total hysterectomy for the treatment of uterine fibroids. Methods A total of 114 patients with uterine fibroid disease requiring total hysterectomy were divided into three groups: Group A(38 cases),group B(25 cases),and group C(51 cases).Group A and group B were treated with self-made single-hole laparoscopic approach platform.Operation time, intraoperative blood loss, changes in hemoglobin value before and after surgery, postoperative VAS pain score, incision beauty score, postoperative complications, postoperative gastrointestinal recovery time, treatment cost and length of hospital stay were compared among the 3 groups. Results Compared with the other two groups, the micro-channel single-port laparoscopic group had less intraoperative bleeding, shorter hospital stay, faster postoperative recovery, lower postoperative VAS score and higher postoperative beauty score, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The postoperative hospital stay, postoperative pain score and postoperative beauty score of transumbilical single-port laparoscopic surgery were better than those of traditional abdominal group, and the difference was statistically significant. There were no significant differences in the incidence of postoperative complications, the rate of postoperative painkillers and the changes in postoperative hemoglobin among the three groups. Conclusion Microchannel transumbilical single-port laparoscopy can safely and effectively treat uterine fibroids and improve the therapeutic effect of patients. The self-made single-hole laparoscopic approach platform is safe and effective, and can reduce the cost of treatment for patients.
