Objective: To develop a discharge readiness scale for patients with coronary heart disease after PCI,and test its reliability and validity. The scale was used to provide a meaningful evaluation tool for evaluating the discharge readiness of patients with coronary heart disease after PCI.Methods: 1.This research is guided by the transition theory, and construct the dimensions and item pool of the scale through literature research and qualitative research.2.Through Delphi expert consultation to evaluate, screen and optimize the dimensions and items of the scale and form the initial scale of discharge readiness of patients with coronary heart disease after PCI.3.Convenient sampling method was used to select 444 patients with coronary heart disease after PCI in a tertiary A hospital in Sichuan Province for cross-sectional investigation. All samples were randomly divided into two sub samples with approximately equal sample size for exploratory factor analysis and confirmatory factor analysis. The items of the scale were screened by item analysis and homogeneity test; The internal consistency reliability, split reliability, content validity, and construct validity(discrimination validity, aggregation validity)were used to evaluate the reliability and validity of the scale, and a formal scale of discharge readiness of patients with coronary heart disease after PCI was formed. Results: 1.A total of 15 patients with coronary heart disease after PCI and 6 medical staff were interviewed.According to the interview results, the corresponding topics were extracted, and the dimensions and item pool of the scale were initially constructed by combining literature research and referring to relevant scales. After simplification, the scale item pool with 5 dimensions and 58 items was formed.2.The two rounds of expert consultation distributed 17 questionnaires respectively, and all of them were taken back; The expert authority coefficient is 0.856 and 0.871;The Kendall’s W degree of expert opinion coordination was 0.242 and 0.272.After two rounds of expert consultation, the initial scale of discharge readiness of patients with coronary heart disease after PCI was formed, which included 5 dimensions and 23 items, including their own conditions, coping ability, social support, compliance, and disease related knowledge.3.After item analysis and homogeneity test of the scale items,a total of 6 items were deleted.Five common factors were extracted through exploratory factor analysis, and the cumulative variance contribution rate was 75.843%,forming a formal scale with five dimensions and17 items.Reliability: Cronbach’s of the total scaleαThe coefficient is 0.945,Cronbach’s of each dimensionαThe coefficient is between 0.830 and 0.894;The half reliability of the scale was 0.896.Validity: the content validity index of item level is between 0.852 and1;The content validity index of the scale level was 0.941;The confirmatory factor analysis showed that the aggregate validity of the scale was good when the AVE of the five dimensions were all greater than 0.5,and CR values were greater than 0.7;the square root value of the AVE of the five dimensions were greater than the correlation coefficient between the variables, and the discrimination validity of the scale was good;the model built through the first and second order confirmatory factor analysis, all adaptation indicators reached the expected standard, indicating that the model fitting was acceptable and the scale structure was stable. Conclusion: This study completed the compilation of the discharge readiness scale for patients with coronary heart disease after PCI,and the scale has been tested to have good reliability and validity, which can be used as a measurement tool for the level of discharge readiness of patients with coronary heart disease after PCI in clinical practice.
