Exploring The Clinical Study Of Jinguishenqi Decoction In The Treatment Of Autonomic Dysfunction In MSA Based On The Theory Of "Mutual Assist Of Spleen And Kidney"

Objective:Based on the theory of "mutual assist of Spleen and Kidney",the efficacy of the Jin Gui Shen Qi decoction in the curing of MSA with Aut D was observed.The aim is to contribute more conceptual foundation and diagnostic ideas for the treatment of MSA in Chinese medicine and enhance the application of Chinese medicine in the treatment of neurodegenerative diseases.Methods:1.The patients were choosed from the cerebral disease centre of Anhui Provincial Hospital from February 2021 to August 2022;2.The gathered patients were splited into two groups randomly.The patients of control group was given conventional basic treatment in Western medicine;in the treatment group,patients were cured with Jin Gui Shen Qi decoction additionally,and both therapies were administered for 24weeks;3.The scales of UMSARS,OHQ,SCOPA-AUT,MSA-Qo L,TCM syndrome,urodynamic tests and the blood pressure in prone and standing position were observed at the day before the treatment,the end of 12 weeks and the end of 24 weeks after the treatment,the efficacy of two groups were compared.Results:1.12 weeks after treatment:(1)In terms of scales:there was no change in UMSARS and MSA-Qo L in the control group(P>0.05),and the scores of some OHQ,SCOPA-AUT and TCM syndrome were decreased(P<0.05);there was no significant change in UMSARS in the treatment group(P>0.05),and the scores of OHQ,SCOPA-AUT,MSA-Qo L and TCM syndrome were all reduced(P<0.05);there was no difference between the two groups in the UMSARS and OHQ(P>0.05),and there was a difference in the SCOPA-AUT,MSA-Qo L and TCM syndrome(P<0.05).(2)Urodynamic tests:In the control group,there were no changes in Qmax,PVR and the number of urinations in24 hours(P>0.05),the MCV was increased(P<0.05);the indexes above all changed in the treatment group(P<0.05),with a difference between the two groups(P<0.05).(3)The blood pressure in prone and standing position:There were changes in some SBP and DBP in prone and standing position in two groups,and the difference of blood pressure was both reduced(P<0.05),there was no change in the blood pressure in prone position(P>0.05),but changes were found in the blood pressure in standing position and its difference(P<0.05).2.24 weeks after treatment:(1)In terms of scales:there was no change in UMSARS and MSA-Qo L in the control group(P>0.05),and the scores of OHQ,SCOPA-AUT and TCM syndrome were decreased(P<0.05);the scores above were all decreased in treatment group(P<0.05);there were changes in two groups(P<0.05).(2)Urodynamic tests:In the control group,there were no changes in Qmax,PVR and MCV(P>0.05),the the number of urinations in 24 hours was improved(P<0.05);the indexes above all changed in the treatment group(P<0.05),with a difference between two groups(P<0.05).(3)The blood pressure in prone and standing position:There was no change in DBP in the prone position in the treatment group,and the other blood pressure and its difference were improved significantly(P<0.05),with a difference between two groups(P<0.05).Conclusions:1.The combination of Jin Gui Shen Qi decoction with basic treatment had shown some improvement in the neurological symptoms of MSA,especially in Aut D symptoms,and had effectively improved the quality of life of patients and has more obvious efficacy in long-term.2.The theory of "mutual assist between Spleen and Kidney" provides this study with some theoretical support and neurodegenerative ideas.
