Clinical Observation Of Xuefu Zhuyu Decoction Combined With PFNA In Treating Intertrochanteric Fracture Of Femur In Senile Patients

Objective:To analyze and compare the functional recovery of patients after PFNA(proximal femoral anti-spin intramedullary nailing)with PFNA using Xifu Zhuangyu Tang plus and minus,and to further investigate the effect of Xifu Zhuangyu Tang plus and minus in the treatment of elderly patients with intertrochanteric fractures,in order to provide a basis for clinical treatment.Methods:All the cases in this study were obtained from 70 patients who met the inclusion criteria for PFNA in the ward of the Department of Orthopaedics IV,Liu’an City Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine,Anhui Province,China,from December 2021 to December 2022.The control group was treated with antibiotics,diuretic,antiswelling and thrombosis prevention drugs.The patients in the control group were treated with antibiotics,diuresis,swelling and prevention of thrombosis,and were instructed to take functional exercises in bed.In the trial group,on the first postoperative day,the patients were given a course of treatment with the addition and subtraction of Blood Mansions and Blood Stasis Tang.The swelling and VAS scores of the affected limbs on the 1st,7th and 14 th days after surgery,as well as the Harris scores and bone scab healing X-ray scores of the two groups at 1 and 3 months after surgery were evaluated to assess the therapeutic effect of Xifu Zhuangyu Tang Plus Reduction on PFNA.Results:1.Measurement of the degree of swelling: the swelling values of the two groups of patients were compared at 1,7 and 14 days after surgery,and there was no statistical significance on the first day(P>0.05);the swelling values of the test group at 7 and 14 days were lower than those of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).2.To assess the patients’ pain visual analogue score(VAS): the swelling and pain sensation of the two groups were compared at 1,7 and 14 days after surgery,and there was no statistical significance on the first day(P>0.05);the pain sensation of the patients in the test group was lower than that of the control group at 7 and 14 days,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).3.Assessment of patients’ hip joint function: comparing the hip joint function of patients in both groups at 1 and 3 months after surgery,the hip joint function of patients in the test group was higher than that of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).4.Comparison of bone scab healing X-ray scores: When comparing the bone scab healing X-ray scores of the two groups at 1 and 3 months after surgery,the test group had higher bone scab healing X-ray scores than the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).5.Comparison of efficacy: The results of the data comparison showed that the efficacy of the test group was significantly better than that of the control group,with a statistically significant difference(P<0.05).Conclusion:In elderly people with intertrochanteric fractures,the use of Blood Mansions and Blood Stasis Soup with PFNA can effectively relieve the patients’ postoperative hip pain and promote the reduction of their swelling,as well as improve the function of their hip joints.thus improving their clinical outcomes.
