| Purpose: 1.The principle of tonifying the kidney and eliminating turbidity in treating HUA complicated with T2 DM can be observed through the clinical application of Chinese herbal compound preparation.2.Examine the therapeutic impact of TCM indications,such as serum uric acid,serum creatinine,urea nitrogen,blood glucose and blood lipid,plasma endothelin 1,cycloxygenase-2,body mass index and waist circumference,before and after the application of Chinese herbal compound preparations based on Yishen Xiezhuo’s formulation principle to the illness.An impartial assessment of Yishen Xiezhuo’s effectiveness and security in treating HUA complicated with T2 DM is necessary.Method:From December 2021 to December 2022,60 patients who met the diagnostic criteria of hyperuricemia and type 2 diabetes(TCM syndrome belongs to phlegm stasis stagnation syndrome)Randomly dividing the elderly endocrine department outpatient clinic and ward of Anhui Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine into two groups,30 observation and 30 control,general treatment such as health education,diet and exercise guidance,and hypoglycemic therapy was provided to both..Non-budestar tablets,administered orally at 40 mg daily,were given to the control group as part of their general treatment.The control group was given traditional Chinese medicine decoction orally by the observation group.For a period of 12 weeks,both groups underwent treatment.The curative effect of TCM symptoms,uric acid,creatinine,urea nitrogen,glucose and blood lipids,plasma endothelin-1(ET-1),cyclooxygenase-2(COX-2),body mass index,waist circumference level before and after treatment in the two groups,as well as any adverse events during treatment,were all monitored.All data were analyzed by SPSS 26.0.Results: 1.The observation group’s total clinical effective rate after treatment was 93.33%,while the control group’s was 70.00%.The observation group’s effect was superior to that of the control group(P<0)..05).2.The TCM symptom score of the two groups decreased after treatment,compared to before(P).The therapeutic effect of traditional Chinese medicine syndrome was also seen to be effective,with 92.7% of the observation group and 71.3% of the control group showing a total rate of improvement..The observation group’s curative effect of bettering traditional Chinese medicine syndrome was superior to that of the control group(P<0)..05).3.After treatment,the two groups exhibited a decrease in the levels of blood uric acid(SUA),blood glucose(FBG,2h PG,Hb A1c),and blood lipids(TG,TC)compared to before(P<0.05).The observation group’s effect of lessening blood uric acid,glucose,and lipids was superior to that of the control group(P<0)..05).4.The levels of plasma endothelin-1(ET-1)and cyclooxygenase-2(COX-2)in the two groups decreased after treatment,with statistical significance(P<0.05);the observation group,however,showed a more significant improvement in ET-1 and COX-2 than the other groups(P<0.05).5.The observation group’s effect of weight reduction was superior to that of the control group,as evidenced by a lower BMI and waist circumference level in the two groups post-treatment(P<0.05)..05).6.No noteworthy disparity in the occurrence of adverse reactions between the two groups before and after treatment(P>0.05)was observed,and no discernible abnormality was seen in the general state,regular urination,electrocardiogram,liver functioning,blood creatinine,and urea nitrogen of the two groups during the treatment period..Conclusion:1.The Chinese medicine compound preparation,based on tonifying the kidney and eliminating turbidity,can significantly improve the symptoms of those with phlegm,hyperuricemia,and type 2 diabetes,as well as reduce blood uric acid,sugar,and lipids,weight loss,and enhance vascular endothelial function-a result far superior to that of western medicine alone.2.No adverse occurrences were apparent during the treatment,affirming the security of the traditional Chinese medicine compound preparation,which is based on tonifying the kidney and eliminating turbidity,and providing a theoretical and practical basis for further exploration. |
