| Objective: To explore the feasibility and advantages of using modified thoracic drainage tube instead of traditional thoracic drainage tube in thoracoscopic lung surgery.Methods: 102 patients who went to the Department of Thoracic Cardiovascular Surgery and underwent thoracoscopic pulmonary surgery in Hechi Hospital affiliated to Youjiang Medical College for Nationalities from November 2020 to October 2022 were selected.They were randomly divided into the observation group and the control group,with 51 patients in each group.The observation group patients used modified thoracic tubes for thoracic drainage,while the control group used traditional thoracic tube drainage.The clinical data of the two groups of patients were collected,and the retention time of thoracic tube,postoperative drainage volume,postoperative pain score(1 day,2 days,3 days),postoperative complications,as well as hospital stay and hospital expenses were compared and analyzed.Results: The indwelling time of thoracic tube,postoperative drainage volume,postoperative pain score(1 day,2 days,3 days),and the incidence of complications were significantly lower than those of the control group(P<0.05);There was no significant difference between the two groups in terms of clinical efficacy,length of stay and cost of stay(P>0.05).Conclusion:(1)Compared with the traditional thoracic drainage tube,the improved thoracic drainage tube can not only reduce the postoperative drainage flow,but also ensure effective drainage,making it more conducive to the rehabilitation of patients.(2)The improved thoracic tube does not need to be sutured and fixed,which can greatly reduce the incision pain of patients,significantly reduce the occurrence of postoperative complications,and improve the safety of treatment.(3)Compared with the traditional chest tube,the improved chest tube has no significant difference in clinical efficacy,hospital stay and hospital expenses(P>0.05),and does not increase the economic burden of patients. |
