| Plague has always been regarded as a plague that had a serious impact on human survival,especially in modern China,where plague was considered to be a key factor leading to the great loss of life and property of working people.This study takes the1910 outbreak of Heptaneic plague in northeast China as the theme event,and analyzes the role of paper media in the mechanism of memory utility from the perspective of historical research,with a view to providing services for media reality utility in journalism and communication.The first part mainly discusses the effect of paper media on the construction of memory environment of heptylosin plague event.This part elaborates the dilemma of the Qing Dynasty,as well as the background of the lack of ideology of the people and the difficult livelihood of the vendors,which lays the foundation for the research on the construction of paper media memory.The second part focuses on the memory content recorded by paper media for the heptyl plague event.Through the analysis of historical materials such as newspapers,local Chronicles and novels,this paper discusses the specific performance of these three types of paper media in the memory construction of Heptyl plague event,aiming to reveal the details of paper media in the writing and construction of collective memory.The third part mainly analyzes the memory fragmentation caused by disaster trauma memory and forgetting after the outbreak of heptylosin plague.The study explores how the audience actively self-healing and how the paper media uses the framework to construct tools and memory network to reconstruct memory.The fourth part focuses on the historical effect and reflection of paper media in heptylosin plague.Through the content analysis of paper media historical materials and available materials,the paper discusses the historical utility of heptylosin plague at that time,and reflects on the role of paper media in bridging collective memory and disaster memory,as well as the importance of building high-quality collective memory.Finally,from the perspective of summarizing the effect of paper media in the disaster of Heptylosin plague,paper media is guided to find a more appropriate position in the current memory research.At the same time,through combing and studying historical materials from the perspective of plague history,the paper media’s transformative effect on society in the development process and historical continuation of heptylosin plague was analyzed,with the goal of drawing lessons from history and providing warnings for the future.This study hopes to reveal the importance of paper media in the construction of social memory through in-depth discussion on the performance of paper media in plague events,and at the same time provide theoretical and empirical support for the research on the realistic effectiveness of media in journalism and communication. |
