Objective: To analyze the clinical data of 60 patients with bone metastasis from non-small cell lung cancer(NSCLC)and to explore the clinical factors affecting prognosis. Methods: 60 patients with bone metastasis from NSCLC diagnosed by the Department of General Hospital of The PLA Eastern Theater Command from January2014 to December 2018 were reviewed. The clinical data were analyzed by single factor analysis by Log-rank method, and then multi-factor analysis by Cox regression model. Results: 60 patients were included in this study, with a median survival time of 15 months and one-year survival rate of 66.7%.Most of the patients were under 60 years old(53.3%,32/60),and the ratio of male to female was 0.9%.There was no obvious gender preference. The main metastatic sites were the spine(45.0%,27/60),followed by the extremities(41.7%,25/60)and the pelvis(13.3%,8/60).The main pathological types were adenocarcinoma(82.5%,33/60),followed by squamous cell carcinoma(81.6%,49/60)and adenosquamous carcinoma(11.7%,7/60).26.7% patients were accompanied with pathological fracture symptoms. There were significant differences in age, pathological type, serum calcium concentration, radiotherapy of metastatic focus and survival time of pathological fracture group(P <0.05).The clinical factors affecting the prognosis of patients were serum calcium concentration[OR=2.961,95% CI(1.496-5.860)],radiotherapy[OR=0.323,95%CI(0.134-0.775)]and pathological fracture[OR=2.306,95% CI(1.242-4.281)].Conclusion: Bone metastasis from NSCLC is common in extremities, and the prognosis is generally poor.Age and pathological type may be related to the survival time of bone metastasis from NSCLC.Serum calcium concentration, radiotherapy and pathological fracture are independent prognostic factors. The effects of metastatic surgery, chemotherapy and other factors on the survival time of patients need to be further studied.
