| Objective:To investigate the efficacy and safety of CT-guided percutaneous 125I seed implantation in the treatment of liver metastasis of colorectal cancer.Methods:Data of patients who received CT-guided 125I seeds interstitial implantation for liver metastasis of colorectal cancer from January 2013 to June 2021 were retrospectively analyzed.A total of 34 patients with 49 liver metastases were included.Preoperative treatment Planning System（TPS）was used to calculate the distribution source,and matched peripheral dose（MPD）was 110-160Gy.According to TPS simulated implantation path and particle distribution source,positioning puncture needle was selected for percutaneous puncture with particle spacing of 0.5cm-1.0cm.Postoperative CT images were sent to TPS for verification.Patients were followed up1,3 and 6 months after operation,and 3 months after half a year.MRECIST was used to assess tumor control,median local progression-free survival,median overall survival,and complications at follow-up.Results:The success rate of implantation of all lesions was 100%.The length of lesions was11.3-135.2mm,with an average of 38 implants per lesion.The actual median D90 was 145 Gy after postoperative verification.Follow-up was 2-42 months,with a median follow-up of 38months（95%CI:5.8-70.2 months）,25 patients died,and 9 patients survived during the follow-up period,with 2 complete responses,16 partial responses,20 disease stabilization,and 11 disease progression.The local control rate was 77.6%,and the median progression-free time of local lesions was 13.0 months（95%CI:11.6--14.4 months）,median overall survival 16.0 months（95%CI:9.6--22.4 months）.No serious complications were observed after operation.Conclusions:CT-guided percutaneous 125I seed implantation is a safe and effective method for the treatment of liver metastases of colorectal cancer. |
