| Phragmitis Rhizoma is a fresh or dried rhizome of Phragmites australis Trin.,which is a member of genus Phragmites, belonging to the family Gramineae. At present, the literatures of Phragmitis Rhizoma mainly focus on the research of polysaccharides, while there are few reports on the chemical composition and biological activity of secondary metabolites with higher polarity.19 compounds were isolated from the n-Bu OH extract(RPB)of the dried rhizomes of Phragmites australis Trin.by various methods, including nine lignans(syringaresinol-4-O-β-D-glucopyranoside(RPB30-5),(+)-lyoniresinol 9’-O-β-D-glucopyranoside(RPB30-6),(-)-lyoniresinol 9’-O-β-D-glucopyranoside(RPB30-7),(-)-lyoniresinol 9-O-β-D-glucopyranoside(RPB30-8a),(-)-7’-epi-lyoniresinol9’-O-β-D-glucopyranoside(RPB30-8b),7S,7’S,8R,8’R-icariol A2-9-O-β-D-glucopyranoside(RPB30-9),(-)-8’-epilyoniresin-4-ylβ-glucopyranoside(RPB30-10),(+)-lyoniresin-4-ylβ-D-glucopyranoside(RPB30-11),(8S,8′R,7′R)-9′-[(glucopyranosyl)oxy]lyoniresinol(RPB30-12)),three flavonoids(isoliquiritin(RPB95-5),tricin-7-O-rutinoside(RPB30-3),tricin-7-O-neohesperidoside(RPB30-4)),three steroids(daucosterol(RPB95-1),β-sitosterol(RPB95-2),6′-O-acetyl-β-daucosterol(RPB95-4)),two monosaccharides(fructose(RPB30-1),n-butyl-β-D-fructopyranoside(RPB30-2)),one phenylpropanoid(p-coumaric acid(RPB95-3))and one other(4-O-α-L-rhamnopyranosyl-(1→6)-β-D-glucopyranosyl acetophenone(RPB30-15)).Except for compounds RPB95-1,RPB95-2,RPB95-3and RPB30-6,this is the first report of other 15 compounds both from Phragmitis Rhizoma and from the genus of Phragmites. The results of biological activities study showed that RPB30-5,RPB30-6,RPB30-7,RPB30-8a and RPB30-8b exhibited potent DPPH radical scavenging activities and RPB30-7,RPB30-8a and RPB30-8b exhibitedα-glucosidase inhibitory activities. The content of aryltetralin-type lignans was high in this experiment,so the structural and spectral characteristics of naturally occurring aryltetralin-type lignans were summarized in this thesis. The results of this study provided a scientific basis for clarifying the active components of Phragmitis Rhizoma and for further development of Phragmitis Rhizoma. |
