| Objectives To observe the effect of manual reduction of traditional Chinese medicine combined with 3D printing splint on pain, swelling, wrist score and curative effect evaluation of traditional Chinese medicine in elderly patients with extended distal radius fracture, and to evaluate its clinical efficacy. Methods A total of 60 patients over 65 years old with extended distal radius fractures in Cangzhou Hospital of Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine from December 2020 to December 2021 were collected and randomly divided into experimental group(n=30)and control group(n=30).The two groups of patients were reset by traditional Chinese medicine. The control group was fixed by traditional small splint, and the experimental group was fixed by 3D printing small splint. The two groups of patients were completed by the same attending physician.Fixed for 6 weeks.Visual Analogue Scale(VAS),limb swelling score,Gartland-Werley Colles fracture efficacy score, excellent and good rate,TCM symptom efficacy evaluation, and imaging data(palm inclination angle, ulnar deviation angle, and radial height)were recorded in the two groups. Results 1 Comparison of VAS scores:There was no significant difference in VAS scores between the two groups before treatment and 6 weeks after treatment(P>0.05).The VAS scores at the 2nd and 4th weeks were comparable(P<0.05).The swelling scores in the experimental group were significantly lower than those in the control group at the 2nd and 4th weeks after treatment(P<0.05).3 Comparison of imaging data:After treatment, the imaging data of the experimental group were better than those of the control group(P<0.05).4 TCM symptoms curative effect comparison:the experimental group was significantly better than the control group(P<0.05).5 Gartland-Werley Colles fracture wrist function score comparison:the experimental group was better than the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).There were no obvious adverse reactions in the two groups during the whole treatment. Conclusions 1 After manual reduction of traditional Chinese medicine, the use of 3D printing small splint fixation in the treatment of elderly patients with extended distal radius fractures can significantly reduce the VAS score and swelling score of the affected limb compared with the traditional splint, maintain a good anatomical position, and is more conducive to the.2 TCM manipulation combined with 3D printing splint can significantly improve the symptoms of elderly patients with extended distal radius fractures, which is worthy of promotion in clinical practice.Figure11;Table9;Reference 121... |
