Objectives The correlation between S100β、MBP and cognitive impairment after ischemic stroke was studied in patients’serum.Methods 90 cases of cognitive impairment and 180 cases of cognitive impairment occurred after 3 months of acute ischemic stroke admitted to the Department of Neurology of the Affiliated Hospital of North China University of Science and Technology from October 2019 to October 2021.At the time of admission,serum retention was taken to detect the levels of FBG,Fg,TG,TC,HDL,LDL,HCY,and UA,record the site of cerebral infarction,apply the NIHSS scale to assess the degree of neurological deficit of patients,use the Mo CA Scale to assess their cognitive status,use enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay to detect S100βand MBP concentrations in serum,and compare the differences between the two groups of laboratory indicators,cerebral infarction sites,NIHSS scores and other items to find risk factors for PSCI.Results 1 Comparing the clinical data of the two groups,the age of the patients in the case group was greater than the age of the control group,and the difference was significant(t=-6.842,P<0.05);When comparing the literacy between the two groups,the difference was statistically significant(χ~2=43.194,P<0.05);The proportion of patients with hypertension in the case group was higher than that in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(χ~2=16.607,P<0.05);Compared with the control group,the proportion of patients with coronary heart disease in the case group was high,and the difference was statistically significant(χ~2=28.361,P<0.05);In terms of the site of infarction,there was a difference between the two groups,which was statistically significant(χ~2=42.609,P<0.05);There were no significant differences in gender,smoking,alcohol consumption,and history of diabetes(P>0.05);There was no significant difference in comparison between the two groups in FBG,Fg,TG,TC,HDL,LDL,HCY,UA(P>0.05);The NIHSS score in the case group(5.09±2.25)was higher than that in the control group(3.42±1.76),and the Mo CA score in the case group(20.82±2.89)was lower than that in the control group(26.89±1.30),and the comparative differences between groups were statistically significant(P<0.05).2 S100βand MBP and PSCI correlation of univariate analysis,the case group S100β(1186.88±734.33)and MBP(5704.33±3271.48)levels were higher than the control group,and the comparative difference between groups was statistically significant(P<0.05);Based on the average S100βand MBP in the total serum as the exposure threshold,the proportion of patients with S100βlevels in serum≥795.74 ng/L(OR=27.02,95%CI:13.19-55.34)was higher than that of patients with S100β<795.74 ng/L;The relationship between patients with a serum MBP level of≥3889.26 pg/ml(OR=19.51,95%CI:9.96-38.23)with a higher proportion of cognitive impairment than those with MBP<3889.26 pg/ml(P<0.05);Pearson correlation analysis:S100βlevels in patients with cerebral infarction were inversely correlated with Mo CA scores(r=-0.677,P<0.05);Its MBP level was inversely correlated with the Mo CA score(r=-0.669,P<0.05);S100β(F=7.998,P<0.05)and MBP(F=7.110,P<0.05)levels were distributed across the four sites of infarction,and the differences were statistically significant.3 Multivariate logistic regression analysis shows:After controlling for the influence of unavoidable factors between groups,S100β(OR=1.003,P<0.05)and MBP(OR=1.002,P<0.05)were still the influencing factors of PSCI,that is,S100βand MBP were independent risk factors for cognitive impairment after ischemic stroke.Conclusions 1 Serum S100βand MBP are associated with post-ischemic post-stroke cognitive impairment,and when S100βand MBP levels are elevated,the risk of cognitive impairment increases after 3 months in patients with ischemic stroke.2 Age,hypertension,coronary heart disease,site of infarction,and degree of nerve defect in patients with ischemic stroke are risk factors for PSCI.Figure3;Table9;Reference 149...
