A Study On The Rules Of Medication For Vertigo In The Qing Dynasty

Objective: With the help of the cloud platform of ancient and modern medical records(V2.3.5),this study made statistics on the medical records of treating vertigo in the Qing Dynasty collected from the Chinese Medical Code,analyzed and summarized the medication rules of doctors treating vertigo in that period,in order to provide new ideas and references for the Traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)diagnosis and treatment of vertigo.Methods: With the Chinese Medical Canon(Hunan Electronic Audio and Video Publishing House,5th edition)as the retrieval database,the medical records of the Qing Dynasty with vertigo as the primary symptom were screened and the database was established with the search terms "vertigo","head-dazzle","head-spin","dazzle","mao-dazzle" and so on.Data mining was carried out with the help of TCM frequency statistics,drug attribute statistics,association rule analysis,community analysis,complex network analysis,cluster analysis and other modules in the cloud platform of ancient and modern medical records(V2.3.5)to explore the drug use rules.Results: A total of 388 prescriptions were included in this study.According to the inclusion and exclusion criteria,277 effective prescriptions were included,including 297 TCM,with a total frequency of 2763 times.The frequency is greater than or equal to 30 times,a total of 25 flavors.The most frequent drug was Fushen,93 times,followed by Juhua(92 times),Banxia(90 times),Fuling(89 times),Shijueming(85 times),Baishao(85 times),Tianma(70 times),Cijili(65times),Gouteng(61 times),Muli(61 times)and so on.The four drugs were mainly flat,followed by slight cold,warm,cold,etc.The five tastes are sweet,followed by bitter,hot,salty and so on.Drugs mainly return to the liver meridian,followed by lung meridian,spleen meridian,heart meridian and so on.The frequency of dry dampness and phlegm removal was the highest in drug efficacy,followed by calming the heart,clearing the liver and brightening the eyes,and calming the liver Yang.The highest co-occurrence frequency of drug pair was Banxia-Fuling(47times),followed by Tianma-Banxia(45 times),Fushen-Shijueming(38times),Fushen-Suanzaoren(37 times),etc.High-frequency drug cluster analysis can be clustered into 5 categories.Conclusion: Doctors in the Qing Dynasty believed that vertigo was a disease closely related to the liver,lung,spleen,heart and other viscera.The treatment was based on the principle of "Fuzhengdispelling evil",the medication was led by "dryness and dampness and phlegm",and the attention was paid to ningxin and clearing liver.Commonly used drugs are Fushen,Juhua,Banxia,Fuling,Shijueming,Baishao,Tianma,Cijili,Gouteng,Muli and so on.The main medicinal tastes are sweet and Ping,which can be used to treat bitter cold or tempering heat according to different syndroms,so as to adjust Yin and Yang,replenish deficiency and relieve excess,and thus achieve the purpose of treating vertigo,which provides reference for clinical differentiation and treatment of vertigo.
