| Objective An innovative needle aspiration method was proposed, which compared the effects of different acupuncture methods on the adequacy of thyroid nodule specimens, and analyzed the factors affecting the adequacy rate of specimens one by one, aiming to improve the specimen adequacy rate of Ultrasound-guided fine-needle aspiration(US-FNA)under clinical ultrasound. Methods A total of 1082 patients with thyroid nodules who were examined in our hospital from January 1,2019 to October 31,2022 were selected as the study subjects, and all were biopsied using US-FNA.Among them,383 patients who visited from January 1,2019 to May 20,2020 were classified into group A,and 10mL syringe combined with 7-gauge needle negative pressure lifting and suction were used;the 362 patients who visited from May 21,2020 to June 22,2021 were classified into group B,and 22G fine needle aspiration was used;the 337 patients who visited from June 23,2021 to October 31,2022 were classified into group C,and 22G fine needles were combined with self-created relatively constant negative pressure system for lifting and suction. The adequacy rates of thyroid nodule specimens in the three groups were compared, and the influencing factors of thyroid nodule specimens were analyzed, and the adequacy rates of the three acupuncture methods for thyroid nodules with different diameters, physical characteristics, calcification, blood flow and elasticity were compared. Results The adequate rates of thyroid nodule specimens in group A,B,C were 77.81%,81.77%and 86.65%,respectively.The adequacy rate of specimens in group C was significantly higher than that in group A and group B(P<0.05);nodule size, nodule size claa, nodule physical characteristics, calcification, intranodule blood flow, and nodule elasticity score were the influencing factors of US-FNA in thyroid nodules(P<0.05);for thyroid nodules with a diameter of>10 mm,cystic thyroid nodules, thyroid nodules with high blood flow, thyroid nodules with low elasticity, the adequacy rate of group C was significantly higher than that of group A and B(P<0.05).Conclusion In this study, the newly proposed 22G fine needle combined with self-created relatively constant negative pressure system lift and aspiration can effectively improve the specimen adequacy rate of US-FNA of thyroid nodules, and this method is more applicable to thyroid nodules with a diameter of>10mm,cystic solidity, high blood degree and low elasticity. |
