| Objective:By analyzing the clinical characteristics of patients with osteoporosis, osteopenia and normal bone mineral density, this study explored the correlation between female forehead wrinkles and osteoporosis, and constructed a regression model to provide clinical research basis for the noninvasive screening and diagnosis of patients with osteoporosis in the future. Methods:The subjects were female patients who visited Qilu Hospital of Shandong University from November 2019 to January 2022.According to the classification criteria for DXA bone mineral density examination from the guidelines for the diagnosis and management of primary osteoporosis(2017)of Chinese Society of Osteoporosis and Bone Mineral Research and WHO,the patients were divided into three groups:osteoporosis group, osteopenia group and normal control group. The main data of all the subjects included in this study were collected, including age, weight, height, menstrual history, sun exposure time, forehead sunscreen measures, skin care products, average daily sleep time, work or life pressure, forehead skin photos and bone mineral density. The forehead skin of the subjects was photographed with a camera and the wrinkles were scored.Multi-classification logistic regression analysis was carried out by using SPSS software to explore the correlation between forehead wrinkles and bone mineral density in women, and a regression model was constructed for predicting the correlation.Results:1.A total of 1050 women were included in this study based on inclusion and exclusion criteria. There were significant differences in age,BMI,menopausal age and forehead wrinkle scores among osteoporosis group, osteopenia group and normal control group(P<0.05).These factors also showed statistical differences at 1%significant level.2.There were significant differences in forehead wrinkle scores among the three groups on the conditions that≥51 years old, different BMI,different menopausal age(P<0.05).3.Logistic regression analysis showed that the forehead wrinkle score was positively correlated with the risk of osteoporosis.4.The results of the regression model show that the correct rate of bone mass reduction prediction is 75.7%,the correct rate of osteoporosis prediction is 73.4%.Conclusions:1.Female forehead wrinkle score is positively correlated with the risk of primary osteoporosis.2.Through the forehead wrinkle score, combined with age,BMI,menopausal age,a regression model can be constructed, which can predict the risk of primary osteoporosis, and provide a new method for non-invasive screening and diagnosis of osteoporosis in the future. |
