Preliminary Construction Of Postgraduate Training Program For Master’s Degree In Mental Health Nursing

Objective:This study adopted literature review method,semi-structured interview method,Delphi method and other research methods,and initially constructed a set of training programs for postgraduate with a master’s degree in nursing that embodies the characteristics of mental health nursing.The effective connection between education and professional qualifications of specialized nurses provides a reference for the training and development of senior specialized nursing talents in mental health.Methods:This study firstly formed the framework of the postgraduate training plan for the master’s degree in mental health nursing through the literature review method;then,through the semi-structured interview method,formed the draft of the training program for the master’s degree in mental health nursing;Finally,with the help of Delphi method,the training scheme of postgraduates with master’s degree in mental health nursing was determined.The details are as follows:1.literature review method:Use data resources such as Science Direct,Pub Med,CNKI,VIP,Wanfang,Yizhiwang,Bailian,and other data resources related to this research.The literature retrieval of relevant policies,laws and regulations,guidelines,related books and public accounts,etc.to summarize the current situation of the training of senior nursing talents at home and abroad,and extract the framework of the training plan for the master’s degree in mental health nursing.2.Semi-structured interview method:An interview outline was developed,nursing education experts,psychiatric clinical medical experts and mental health specialist nurses,etc.completed the semi-structured interview.Use Colaizzi 7-step analysis method for data analysis,supplementing the content of the postgraduate training plan for the master’s degree in mental health nursing,and preliminarily formulating the training plan for the master’s degree in mental health nursing.Questionnaire for expert consultation with the management programme(first round).3.Delphi method:The Delphi method is used to further screen and modify the entries.Nursing education experts and clinical nursing experts were selected for consultation to demonstrate the scientificity and feasibility of the training program for master’s degree in mental health nursing,and the program was revised according to the results of expert consultation,and finally the training program for master’s degree in mental health nursing was determined.4.Analytic Hierarchy Process and Proportional Allocation:According to the results of expert correspondence,Analytic Hierarchy Process and Proportional Allocation are used to determine the weights and combined weights of the content indicators of the training program for postgraduates with professional degrees in mental health nursing.Results:1.Through literature review,the current situation of advanced nursing personnel training at home and abroad was understood,and the main problems existing in the training of nursing master degree postgraduates in China were a nalyzed.A framework for the training of postgraduates with master’s degree in mental health nursing has been initially formed(including 4 first-level dimensions,8 second-level dimensions,27 third-level dimensions and several indicators and elements).2.Semi-structured interviews were conducted among 10 people to revise a nd supplement the contents of the program,to form the draft of the program of training of master’s degree in mental health nursing,and to establish the expert letter questionnaire(the first round)for the program of training of master’s degree in mental health nursing.It includes 4 first-level dimensions,9 secondlevel dimensions,33 third-level dimensions and several indicators and elements.3.26 experts were selected to conduct three rounds of Delphi expert consultation on the indicators of the content of the trainig plan for postgraduates with a master’s degree in mental health nursing.Sort out and analyze the expert consultation questionnaire.According to the expert opinions,in dex screening criteria and research group discussion,the modified index system includes 4 first-level dimensions,9 second-level dimensions,34 third-level dimensions,and several indicators and elements.The recovery rate of three rounds of expert consultation questionnaires not less than 90%,and the authority coefficient(Cr)of experts was 0.879.The Kendall’s W of the three rounds of expert consultation are 0.208,0.200 and 0.227 respectively,and all P(27)0.001,indicating that the consensus of expert opinions was good.4.The weight of each indicator is determined by the AHP and proportional distribution method.The first-level dimension weights from high to low are:Education(0.3952),Accreditation(0.2322),Licensure(0.2322)and Certification(0.1404).The higher results of the combined weight of the second dimension are:training objectives(0.2207),curriculum evaluation(0.1741)and continuous registration(0.1548).The higher results of the three-level dimension combination weight are:evaluation content(0.1161),continuing education requirements(0.1032)and psychiatric clinical nursing ability(0.0717).Conclusion:Through literature review,semi-structured interview and Delphi method,this study preliminarily constructed the training scheme of postgraduates with master’s degree in mental health nursing,including 4 first-level dimensions,9 secondlevel dimensions,34 third-level dimensions and Several indicators and elements.In the process of inquiry,the enthusiasm and authority of experts are high,the coordination of expert opinions is good,and the consistency test results of content indicators are good,the content of the program has good scientificity and reliability,which can provide a more comprehensive program for the training of senior nursing personnel in the direction of mental health,and is conducive to promoting the master’s degree in nursing.To promote the standardization and specialization of senior nursing personnel in mental health specialty in China.
