| Objective:The percutaneous coronary intervention(PCI)of the coronary bifurcation lesions(CBL)is a difficult issue in the interventional field of coronary atherosclerotic heart disease.Currently, the treatment method is still controversial. This meta-analysis aims to further evaluate the efficacy and safety of drug-coated balloon in the treatment of coronary bifurcation lesions. Methods:PubMed,web of science,EMBASE and Cochrane Library,CNKI,Wanfang database,CBM and VIP database had been searched to perform analysis that comparing the efficacy and safety of drug-coated balloon versus conventional balloon in single stent treatment strategy for coronary bifurcation lesions. Results:A total of 807 patients from 9 studies were included in this meta-analysis.DCB group had less LLL of side branch than POBA group [SMD =-1.49;95% CI(-2.37,-0.61);P = 0.0009],the incidence of MACE in DCB group was lower than that in POBA group [RR = 0.57;95% CI(0.37,0.86);P = 0.008],and the incidence of SBR in DCB group also was lower than that in POBA group [RR = 0.49;95% CI(0.30,0.80);P = 0.004],however there was no significant difference in the incidence of TLR between DCB group and POBA group [RR = 1.42;95% CI(0.40,5.04);P = 0.59].Conclusion:In the treatment of coronary bifurcation lesions,DCB could reduce the incidence of MACE and SBR,and was associated with lower LLL of side branch, but there was no significant difference between DCB and POBA in reducing the incidence of TLR. |
