| Objective: The purpose of this topic is to study the effect of percutaneous acupoint electrical stimulation on prevention and treatment of gastrointestinal reaction after total knee arthroplasty, reduce gastrointestinal adverse reactions after total knee arthroplasty, promote rapid rehabilitation of patients, and provide reference for the selection of prevention and treatment of gastrointestinal reaction after total knee arthroplasty. Methods: From December 2020 to October 2021,90 patients who received unilateral TKA surgery for knee osteoarthritis in Orthopaedics Department of Affiliated Hospital of Shandong University of Traditional Chinese Medicine were selected as the study subjects.According to the drawing method,90 patients were randomly divided into TEAS group, acupuncture group and control group, with 30 patients in each group. All the patients in the 3 groups were anesthetized with combined hard lumbar anesthesia, and the same standard functional exercise and rehabilitation treatment were performed after operation.Patients in the control group were not given other interventions after operation. At the 6th hour after operation, the patients in the acupuncture group were selected to have the acupuncture points of Zusanli,Zhongwan,Xiawan and Tianshu of about 1 inch and the acupuncture points of Neiguan of about 0.5 inch.In TEAS group, the same acupoints as the acupuncture group were treated with 2-100 Hz electrical stimulation for 20 min each time, twice a day.The scores of abdominal distension, nausea and vomiting, the number of bowel sounds, the first exhaust time and the first defecation time were measured and recorded in 5 postoperative periods(0-6h,6-12 h,12-24 h,24-48 h,48-72h).SPSS26.0 statistical software was used to analyze the data, and the results were expressed by(?)±S.Result:Except for one patient in the control group who voluntarily withdrew from the study, the other patients successfully completed the study according to the treatment plan. The scores of abdominal distension and nausea and vomiting in TEAS group and acupuncture group were lower than those in control group(P<0.05),and the number of bowel sounds was higher than that in control group(P<0.05).The first defecation time and the first defecation time after operation in TEAS group and acupuncture group were lower than those in control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).There were no significant differences in the scores of nausea and vomiting, the number of bowel sounds, the first defecation time and the first defecation time between TEAS group and acupuncture group(P>0.05).Conclusion: The percutaneous acupoint electrical stimulation can effectively reduce the gastrointestinal reaction after knee arthroplasty, reduce the abdominal distension after TKA,reduce the occurrence of postoperative nausea and vomiting in TKA patients, promote postoperative gastrointestinal peristalsis, shorten the first postoperative exhaust and defecation time,so as to reduce the use of postoperative additional drugs, reduce gastrointestinal adverse reactions after knee arthroplasty, and promote rapid rehabilitation. It is a feasible method to prevent and treat postoperative gastrointestinal reactions. |
