Objectives: To understand the current status of childhood psychological abuse,self-control and eating disorders in adolescents and the differences in different demographic characteristics;to clarify the correlation between childhood psychological abuse,self-control and eating disorders in adolescents;to explore the effect of childhood psychological abuse and self-control on adolescent eating disorders. To provide clinical reference for adolescents to develop a reasonable dietary plan and improve the early identification, intervention, treatment and nursing of eating disorders. Methods: General data questionnaire,Children’s Psychological Abuse Scale,Adolescent Self-Control Dual System Scale and Eating Attitude Scale were used.A stratified cluster sampling method was used to select four middle schools in Yanji City,Jilin Province, and 1248 adolescents were selected for the questionnaire survey.EXCEL software was used to enter and sort out the data, and SPSS 26.0software was used to statistically describe the data,t-test,one-way analysis of variance,Spearman correlation analysis, and multiple linear regression analysis.Results:(1)The total score of eating disorder was(11.18 ± 7.84)points,406(32.5%)had a total score of 11 ~ 19 points, and 183(14.7%)had a total score > 20.Adolescent eating disorder scores were significantly different in terms of gender, age, grade,BMI,family type, place of origin, accommodation, and family economic status(P < 0.05).(2)Adolescent eating disorders were positively correlated with childhood psychological abuse(r = 0.478,P < 0.01)and negatively correlated with self-control(r =-0.551,P < 0.01),and childhood psychological abuse was negatively correlated with self-control(r =-0.640,P < 0.01).(3)In the multiple linear regression model of eating disorders in adolescents,F was30.61(P < 0.001),and there were a total of six variables entered into the regression equation, which were grade, age,BMI,family type, place of origin, and family economic status.(4)The effect and intensity of childhood psychological abuse and self-control on adolescent eating disorders were as follows: childhood psychological abuse explained23.7% of eating disorders;after adding self-control,it explained 32.1% of eating disorders.Conclusions:(1)The results of adolescent eating disorder screening showed that adolescent eating disorder tendency was at a moderate level, indicating that adverse eating behaviors were prevalent in adolescents.(2)There was a positive correlation between childhood psychological abuse and eating disorders in adolescents, that is,the more severe the psychological abuse in childhood, the tendency of eating disorders;there was a negative correlation between childhood psychological abuse and self-control,that is,the more severe the psychological abuse in childhood, the lower the level of self-control.There was a negative correlation between self-control and eating disorders, that is,the level of self-control affected eating behavior, the level of self-control,the smaller the tendency of eating disorders.(3)Age,grade,BMI,family type, place of origin, and family economic status were the main influencing factors of eating disorders in adolescents, with BMI factors having the greatest predictability for eating disorders.
