| Objective:This study observed the Clinical efficacy of aromatherapy combined with Zishui Qinggan Decoction on perimenopausal syndrome(PMS),especially for Kidney deficiency liver depression type.From this study,we try to find a method,which is safe and effective,to treat PMS,and we hope that this study can show us that PMS can be effectively treated with traditional Chinese Medicine Aromatherapy.Methods:Select cases that meet the inclusion criteria,There were 64 patients in total,for the purpose of our study,guided by the random principle,they were divided into two groups,treated for 8 weeks.Use random number table method,64 cases were randomly divided into experimental group and control group,the treatment method of the experimental group was aromatherapy combined with oral traditional Chinese medicine Zishui Qinggan Decoction,while the control group just oral TCM.We need to observe something throughout the treatment,especially at the beginning and end of treatment,include the Kupperman index score,TCM syndrome score,serum sex hormone level,MENQOL score and PSQI score of the two groups,and we also need to recorded adverse reactions.In order to complete our study,we evaluate the efficacy and safety of aromatherapy combined with traditional Chinese medicine in the treatment of PMS,especially for Kidney deficiency liver depression type,and software was used to analyze the data,called The SPSS 20.0 statistical software,when all PMS patients finish their treatment.Results:1.Consistency analysis: the general conditions of the two groups were comparable(P>0.05),such as the age,BMI,course of disease and;so on;and before treatment,the two groups had no significant difference in KI score,serum sex hormone level,TCM syndrome score,quality of life and sleep(P>0.05).2.Comparison of clinical efficacy: after treatment,the discomfort of all PMS patients were improved,as we can see,according to the KI score,the effective rate was 96.67% for the experimental and 73.33% for the control group,comparison between the two groups,P < 0.05,the advantages of the experimental group were more obvious.And when we analyzing the TCM syndrome score,it is found that the two groups were improved after treatment,and for the effective rate,one was 90.00%(the treatment group),while the other was 66.67%(the control group).Besides,in terms of improving TCM Syndrome,the advantages of the experimental group were more obvious(P<0.05).3Evaluation results of serum sex hormone level: after treatment,the levels of serum sex hormone(FSH,E2 and LH)in the two groups increased or decreased,and whether it’s up or down,the experimental group has more advantages(P<0.05).4.Evaluation results of quality of life:after treatment,the total score of MENQOL in the two groups decreased significantly.In improving the vasomotor and psychological symptoms,the experimental group has more advantages(P<0.05).5.Sleep evaluation results: after treatment,the sleep of PMS patients in both groups was improved,the total score of PSQI and the scores of seven components were decreased in both groups,and in some ways,the experimental group is more worthy of promotion,in terms of improving sleep quality,improving sleep time and improving daytime dysfunction(P<0.05).6.Safety assessment: the two groups of patients had no related adverse reactions in the whole treatment process,like Nausea,vomiting,allergy and other discomfort did not appear,both groups had high safety.Conclusion:Both methods are safe and effective,Aromatherapy combined with Zishui Qinggan Decoction and Zishui Qinggan Decoction are safe and effective in the treatment of PMS,especially when the liver and kidney function is abnormal.Aromatherapy combined with Zishui Qinggan Decoction has obvious advantages in regulating serum sex hormone level,improving vasomotor and psychological symptoms,improving sleep quality,improving sleep time and improving daytime dysfunction.So,aromatherapy combined with traditional Chinese Medicine have high safety and can be used in clinical practice. |
