| Objective: To investigat the levels of D-Dimer and Vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF)in cerebrospinal fluid(CSF)of patients with different grades of glioma. Methods: Patients with glioma admitted to the First and second Clinical Affiliated Hospital of Inner Mongolia University for Nationalities from August 2019 to June 2021 were collected.Thirty patients with low-grade glioma(grade I and II)and 30 patients with high-grade glioma(grade Ⅲ and Ⅳ)meeting the inclusion criteria were selected. At the same time,30 patients with non-febrile intracranial infection were selected as the control group, and no intracranial infection or neurological diseases were detected by clinical symptoms, craniocerebral CT or MRI,and angiography. Results: The expression levels of D-D and VEGF in cerebrospinal fluid of 55 patients in low-grade glioma group and control group were not significantly increased, and there was no statistical significance between the two groups(P>0.05).The expression levels of D-D and VEGF in cerebrospinal fluid of the high-grade glioma group were increased in 30 cases, which were higher than those in the low-grade glioma group and the control group, with statistical significance(P<0.05).In the high-grade glioma group, the preoperative expression level of VEGF in CSF was lower than 3 days after surgery, similar to 7 days after surgery and lower than 7 days after surgery, and the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05).The expression level of D-dimer in cerebrospinal fluid of high-grade glioma group before operation was lower than 3 days after operation and higher than 7 days after operation, and the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05).Conclusions: The levels of D-dimer and VEGF in CSF were correlated with the degree of malignancy of glioma, and the higher the levels of D-dimer and VEGF in CSF,the higher the degree of malignancy of glioma. The levels of D-dimer and VEGF in cerebrospinal fluid of low grade glioma do not increase. The levels of D-dimer and VEGF in cerebrospinal fluid after operation may predict the quality of prognosis. The levels of D-dimer and VEGF in CSF are helpful for the preliminary evaluation of the malignant degree of glioma. |
