The Research Of The Regularity About Fuping TCM’s Treatment Of PCOS

Objective:This study exepct to probe the Polycystic Ovary Sydrome cases to discusse Fuping’s general rules of diagnose for diferent syndrome types of PCOS,and to summarizes the correlation between the clinical identification and the lab findings.Method:Collect and select effective clinical cases of PCOS that treated by Fuping TCM,then those cases could be inputted into Microsoft Excel 2007 database,and use the SPSS 19.0 software to analyze by means of ANOVA,chi-square test and rank sum test etc.Comapre the the identifition and lab fingds of the different TCM sydrome type,and find the correlation between them.Results:1.Among the 88 selected PCOS patients,there was 41 cases(46.65%)of phlegm-damp sydrome,20 cases(22.7%)of splenasthenic and stomach heat sydrome,15 cases(17%)of kidney deficiency sydrome,12 cases(13.6%)of deficency yin and vigorous fire sydrome.2.Age of onset:the rank mean of the kidney deficiency sydrome was 63.90,which was higer than the other group(P<0.05);the rank mean of the deficency yin and vigorous fire sydrome was 30.29,which was lower than the other 3 groups(P<0.05).3.Age of menarch:the rank mean of the kidney deficiency sydrome’s menarch age was52.77,which was higher than the other 3 goups(P<0.05).4.Ⅰrelatives family history:there was 23 cases(26.1%)of hypertension in the 88 cases of PCOS patients,13 cases(14.8%)of diabetes,9 cases(10.2%)of history of menstrual disorders,4 cases(4.5%)of hair loss.There was no stasitical diference between the four TCM sydrome types.5.BMI,WHp R,WHt R:the BMI,WHt R and WHp R level of the phlegm-damp sydrome were higher than the kidney deficiency sydrome and deficency yin and vigorous fire sydrome groups(P<0.05);the BMI and the WHp R of the phlegm-damp sydrome was singnificant higher than the kidney deficiency sydrome,and the WHt R was higher than deficency yin and vigorous fire sydrome(P<0.05);the WHp R of the Splenasthenic and stomach heat sydrome was singnificant higer than the kidney deficiency sydrome and deficency yin and vigorous fire sydrome groups(P<0.01).6.Acne and hairy: the acne and hairy level of the deficency yin and vigorous fire sydrome were higher than the other 3 groups(P<0.05).7.LH level:the LH level of the phlegm-damp sydrome and the splenasthenic and stomach heat sydrome were lower than the other 2 groups(P<0.05).8.FSH level:there was no stasitical diferrence between the 4 TCM sydrome types(P>0.05).9.LH/FSH:the LH/FSH level of the kidney deficiency sydrome was lower than the other 3 groups(P<0.01).10.PRL: there was no stasitical diferrence between the 4 TCM sydrome types(P>0.05).11.T: the T level of the deficency yin and vigorous fire sydrome was higher than the other 3 groups(P<0.01).12.TG:the kidney deficiency sydrome and the deficency yin and vigorous fire sydrome were lower than the splenasthenic and stomach heat sydrome(P<0.05).13.Tc,HDL-C,LDL-C: there was no stasitical diferrence between the four TCM sydrome types(P>0.05).14.serum glucose: the Glu-1 of the splenasthenic and stomach heat sydrome was higher than the kidney deficiency sydrome(P<0.05).There were no stasitical diferrence of the Glu-0 and the Glu-2.15.Insulin: the FINS level of the phlegm-damp sydrome and the splenasthenic and stomach heat sydrome were higher than the other groups(P<0.01).The INS-1 level of the splenasthenic and stomach heat sydrome was higher than the other three groups.16.HOMA-IR:the HOMA-IR of the splenasthenic and stomach heat sydrome and the phlegm-damp sydrome were higher than the other 2 groups(P<0.01).Based on the simple index of insulin resistance,the HOMA-IR of the phlegm-damp sydrome was2.84,the splenasthenic and stomach heat sydrome was 3.84,and the FINS of splenasthenic and stomach heat sydrome was 16.91μIU/ml,which meas the two types suffered from insulin resistance.Conclusion:1.The distribution of the 88 patients with PCOS is phlegm-damp sydrome > splenasthenic and stomach heat sydrome> kidney deficiency sydrome>deficency yin and vigorous fire sydrome.2.The main symptoms of the kidney deficiency sydrome are the later menarch age,santy menstruation,darkness blood,soreness-tired of waist and knee,deep and thin pulse,And the the main features of the kidney deficiency sydrome are the high LH,LH/FSH,and the upper menarch age.3.The main symptoms of the phlegm-damp sydrome are the obesity,the stuffiness of chest,poor appetite,abundant sputum,loose stools,white greasy coating and fat of the tongue,slippery pulse.And the main features of the phlegm-damp sydrome are the high BMI,WHp R,WHt R and FINS level,and existing insulin resistance.4.The main symptoms of the deficency yin and vigorous fire sydrome are the santy menstruation,darkness blood and clot,dryness of mouth,late sleep and dysphoria,lean,constipation,acne,hairness,younger age of the onset,red tongue and scanty coatingo,thin and quick pulse.And the main features of the deficency yin and vigorous fire sydrome are the high T level,acne,hairy,and the younger age of onset.5.The main symptoms of the splenasthenic and stomach heat sydrome are hyperoraxia,loose stools,mamary swelling pain,thin and wiry pulse.And the main features of the splenasthenic and stomach heat sydrome are the higher WHt R,glucose level,and existing insulin resistance,which is more severe than the phlegm-damp sydrome.
