In the process of fry breeding,the feeding of bait is mainly artificial baiting,which has problems such as uncontrollable baiting,large workload and low bait efficiency,and at the same time,powdered fine particles of bait are easy to be wet and agglomerated during storage,resulting in blockage of bait channel.In order to solve this problem,this paper designs a fry feeding device that integrates milling and feeding.The large particles of bait that are not easy to agglomerate are ground and fed,and the crushing process of large particles of bait is simulated by EDEM technology,and the grinding parts are optimized,and finally the prototype is tested and verified,and the research content of the paper is as follows:(1)The detection of physical parameters of fry bait and the structural design of fry bait thrower were carried out.Firstly,the demand analysis of fry bait feeding was carried out.Secondly,the physical characteristics of the bait were detected;Finally,the overall structure of the fry feeding machine was designed,and the main structure was divided into feeding parts,milling parts and adjusting parts.The silo structure of the feeding part is conical;The milling parts are mainly conical moving knives with grooves on the surface and inverted conical fixed knives;The adjustment part mainly controls the axial spacing between the cutterheads to adjust the particle size of the crushed particles.(2)The simulation analysis of the crushing process of fry bait was carried out.The simulation model of fry feeding machine and fish bait was constructed by EDEM,and the crushing process of fish bait was analyzed.Taking the speed of the moving cutterhead,the grinding angle of the moving cutterhead,the angle of the grinding teeth,the bevel angle of the grinding teeth under the fixed cutterhead and the cone angle under the fixed cutterhead as the test factors,the influence of each factor on the particle size and particle size uniformity of the crushed bait was analyzed through single-factor simulation test and orthogonal test,and the optimal parameters of the grinding parts were determined as follows: the speed of the moving cutterhead was 150r/min,the angle of the grinding teeth was 65°,the inclination angle of the grinding teeth under the fixed cutterhead was 80°,and the cone angle under the fixed cutterhead was 79°.The simulation results show that the median particle size D50 and the standard deviation of particle size are 0.131 for the crushed bait.(3)The performance verification test of the prototype of the fry bait feeding machine was carried out.The test results show that the median particle size of the crushed bait is D50 and the standard deviation of particle size σ as the test indicators,and the test results show that the cutterhead spacing is 1mm,the median particle size of 2# bait crushing is0.45 mm,and the standard deviation of crushed particle size is 0.145,which is basically consistent with the results of the simulation test.When the axial spacing of the cutterhead was 2mm and 3mm,the median particle sizes of the crushed bait were 0.60 mm and 0.80 mm,respectively,and the crushed particle size distribution was uniform,indicating that the bait feeder could meet the feeding needs of different crushed particle sizes.The feeding stability test was carried out,and the test results showed that the feeding stability of the prototype was good,and the feeding amount of bait was linearly related to the feeding time.
