Study On Visual Design Of Conservation Information Of Yangtze Finless Porpoise

The Yangtze River is the cradle of freshwater fish species in China and one of the most biodiverse regions in the world.There are a variety of aquatic wild animals living in the Yangtze River,among which the Yangtze finless porpoise,known as the "giant panda in the water",is the only cetacean animal left in the Yangtze River.On February 28,2023,the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs announced the results of the 2022 finless porpoise expedition in the Yangtze River.The number of finless porpoises in the Yangtze River is only 1,249.In September 2018,The General Office of the State Council issued the Opinions on Strengthening the Protection of Aquatic Life in the Yangtze River,emphasizing the importance of protecting rare and endangered aquatic animals,especially the Chinese sturgeon,the Yangtze sturgeon and the Yangtze finless porpoise,and taking effective measures to strengthen rescue and protection work.Starting from Jan 1,2021,a 10-year strict fishing ban will be implemented in the Yangtze River basin to protect the local ecological environment.The visualization of the protection information of the Yangtze finless porpoise is to design and produce information design pictures of the living conditions of the Yangtze finless porpoise and corresponding protection measures,and display them through pictures and data maps.On the one hand,it can increase the credibility of the data for the protection of the Yangtze finless porpoise,and on the other hand,it can enhance the public’s understanding of endangered animals and maintain biological diversity.Is to protect our home.Based on the design of the protection information visualization of the Yangtze finless porpoise,this paper expounds the visualization technology of the Yangtze finless porpoise information at present,as well as the diversity of the narrative carriers of the public theme of "endangered animal".Collect and sort out the knowledge related to the protection of Yangtze finless porpoise,and establish a visual design system that can make human understand and pay attention to the endangered species by means of information visualization.This paper firstly expounds the concept of information visualization,analyzes the elements and design methods of information visualization.Secondly,the conservation work of the Yangtze finless porpoise was summarized,and the protection design of the Yangtze finless porpoise was taken as an example to comprehensively comb and summarize the current research status of the Yangtze finless porpoise protection.By analyzing the excellent example of information visualization design,this paper discusses the design principle and method of information visualization in the protection of Yangtze finless porpoise,and provides a new idea for Chinese endangered animal protection information visualization design.
