| This study was conducted to investigate hydrogen production of different nutrients level diets fermented in rumen and the biological function of hydrogen in ruminants.We studied the relationship between dissolved hydrogen in rumen and blood,and the relationship between dissolved hydrogen and antioxidant level,and the effect of dietary nutrition levels on rumen fermentation,antioxidant level,serum reproductive hormone and sperm quality of Xiangdong black goats,to reveal the effect of dietary nutrition levels on antioxidant and reproductive performance of Xiangdong black goats.The results showed that :1.The concentration of dissolved hydrogen in rumen and blood was changed after feeding.Compared to 0 h,the concentration of dissolved hydrogen in rumen and blood was significantly higher at 2.5 h and 6 h after feeding(P < 0.01).There was a significant positive correlation between blood dissolved hydrogen and rumen dissolved hydrogen(P < 0.01).And the concentration of blood dissolved hydrogen increased with the increase of rumen dissolved hydrogen concentration.2.Dietary nutrition levels significantly changed dissolved hydrogen concentration(P < 0.01),dissolved methane concentration(P < 0.05),acetate proportion,ratio of acetate to propionate(P < 0.05),and p H value in rumen.Compared to corn bran group,the dissolved hydrogen concentration(P < 0.01),dissolved methane concentration(P< 0.05),acetate proportion,ratio of acetate to propionate(P < 0.05)increased significantly in corn flour group(P <0.05),and the rumen p H value decreased significantly(P <0.05).3.Dietary nutrition levels had no significant effect on the concentration of blood dissolved hydrogen and serum antioxidant in Xiangdong black goats.The concentration of blood dissolved hydrogen and serum antioxidant index changed significantly after feeding.(P <0.01).Compared to 0 h and 2.5 h,the dissolved hydrogen concentration,total antioxidant capacity and hydroxyl scavenging rate in goat blood was lower(P<0.01)and the content of malonaldehyde was higher at 6 h(P <0.01).4.Dietary nutrition levels had no significant effect on the concentration of testicular dissolved hydrogen,but changed the total antioxidant capacity of testicular tissue in Xiangdong black goats(P <0.05).Compared to corn bran group,the total antioxidant capacity of testicular tissue was higher in the corn flour group(P <0.05).5.Dietary nutrition levels had no significant effect on serum reproductive hormone and sperm quality of Xiangdong black goats.6.There was a significant correlation between the concentration of dissolved hydrogen in blood and the total antioxidant capacity in serum(P <0.01).And the total antioxidant capacity of serum increased with the increase of dissolved hydrogen concentration in blood.There was no significant correlation between serum hydroxyl scavenging rate and malondialdehyde content.7.There was no significant correlation between dissolved hydrogen and antioxidant levels in testicular tissue.There was no significant correlation between the concentration of dissolved hydrogen in rumen fluid and blood and that in testicular tissue.Conclusion: Dissolved hydrogen produced by diets with different nutrition levels in rumen can diffuse to the blood of Xiangdong black goats as an antioxidant.The concentration of blood dissolved hydrogen and the serum total antioxidant capacity increased with the improvement of rumen hydrogen production.Compared to corn bran group,more hydrogen was produced in rumen fermentation and the total antioxidant capacity of testicular tissue was higher in corn flour group. |
