The second national general survey of forestry pests carried out from 2003 to 2007,which basically clarified the basic situation of foreign invasion,inter-provincial spread,serious local damage to forestry pests,and the distribution and harm of forestry pests.Since the census of forestry pests,Nanjing has not carried out a systematic survey of forestry pests in the past 10 years.In view of the constant changes in the types and distribution of forestry pests,from 2015 to 2017,Nanjing City targeted areas such as forest land,nurseries,wood storage yards,and wood processing plants within the administrative area.The pests of forestry plants and their products such as forest trees and seedlings were investigated,and the types and distribution of forestry pests in Nanjing were found out,the herbarium and database of forestry pests were enriched,and it was established for the next step to develop forestry pests.Biological monitoring and early warning,risk management,prevention and control operations,and forest plant quarantine work provide a scientific basis.After systematic investigation and analysis,a total of 522 species of forestry pests were found and confirmed in this study,including 466 species of insect pests,45 species of diseases and 6 species of harmful plants.It had collected 986 insect needle specimens,86 larva dipping specimens,12 sets of insect life history,440 boxes of disease specimens,10 harmful plant specimens,and took more than 2,000 photos.Among them,there are 2 species of national quarantine forestry pests(Bursaphelenchus xylophilus,Hyphantria cunea),and 21 species of national dangerous forestry pests(Eriococcus lagerstroemiae,Icerya purchasesi,Nesticoccus sinensis,Corytucha ciliate,Agrilus mali,Anoplophora chinensis,Anoplophara glabripennis,Apriona germari,Batocera lineolata,Monochamus alternatus,Cyrtotrachelus buqueti,Eucryptorrhynchus brandti,Eucryptorrhynchus chinensis,Parathrene tabaniformis,Chilades pandava,Zeuzera leuconotum,Ustilago shiraiana,Dothiorella gregaria,Chestnut canker fungus Pseudovalsella modinia,Cuscuta spp.,Solidago canadensis).Based on the survey of forestry pest species,combined with the regional distribution and damage situation of major forestry pests,this study determined that have 5 serious forestry pests in Nanjing(B.xylophilus,Micromelalopha sieversi,Ceracris kiangsu,H.cunea,Dendrolimu punctatus).There are 2species of H.cunea and Acantholyda posticalis with higher potential danger or higher transmission risk.In this study,the pest risk analysis(Pest Risk Analysis,PRA)method was used,and the evaluation system in the "Jiangsu Provincial Forestry Pest Census Work Plan" was used to assess the two forestry pests of Nanjing with high potential danger or high transmission risk.Insects conduct risk analysis and propose risk management countermeasures.The results showed that among them,the American white moth risk index R=1.88,which is a moderately dangerous forestry pest,and the risk index R=1.68 of the pine leaf moth,which is a moderately dangerous forestry pest.Based on the comprehensive study and judgment of the types,distribution,hazards and potential risks of forestry pests in Nanjing,combined with the actual situation of forestry pest prevention and control in Nanjing,this study puts forward prevention and control suggestions and strategies from a macro perspective.It provides a theoretical basis for the control of forestry pests in Nanjing and conducive to the prevention and control of pests in future. |
